Store Theft: In English And Spanish!

Posted by Paul | September 18, 2012 at 06:01 PM ET

JTA reader Alejandro sent us a question written in Spanish. Determined to meet the needs of all of our readers, we headed to Google Translate and JTA reader Fernando to help him out! Click through for the Spanish to English/English to Spanish dialogue!

Alejandro's response in English:

Congratulations for your great site. I want to share a photo of a figure (left) purchased in a department store in Mexico, I call a lot of attention and I decided to buy it, but can not find details of this figure, I hope you can help me, Greetings!

Nuestra respuesta en español:

Querido Alejandro,

Gracias!

Paul

Our response in English:

Dear Alejandro,

Thank you for the feedback on our site! It means very much to us, especially when we see non-English/non-American speaking readers checking us out all of the time. It encourages us to know that we're reaching ALL Star Wars collectors! What you have found here is some unscrupulous behavior. Someone has taken a 1998 POTF2 Cinema Scenes Uncle Owen Lars figures and put it in the empty package of Dr. Evazan. The Dr. Evazan figure was stolen and then the thief got his money back by returning "a" figure in the same packaging. This happens all too often in the USA too. Please report this activity to your store manager and let them know someone is stealing figures! Thank you!

Paul
