You know, I should have reported this when I initially thought I saw the differences, but I suppose late is always better than never. I have found a "change" on the Logray (Ewok Medicine Man) (VC55) figure. When all is said and done, it's a small change (perhaps to the point of insignificant) and probably most of you won't even care, but Hasbro has definitely done a running change on this Ewok's face. As soon as this figure was found in the wild, collectors pointed out right away that Logray was too dark, almost an inverse of the actual onscreen character. And they were right. (He was brown where he should have been tan and tan where he should have been brown, etc.) I noticed about two weeks ago that Logray started showing up at retail with a lighter face and after I pulled my figures all together (and noticed that I had two of each "style") to compare. Lo and behold, I was correct. The figure on the left is the first issue with the older date stamp and the figure on the right is the "running change" (if you can even call it that) with a younger date stamp. While this still doesn't make Logray perfect, it's an other step in the right direction to make him lighter. While less obvious (especially in the photo below), there are some variances in the paint job on the body as well, but you'll have to look really hard to see it. Once again, we just want you to be aware of the changes we're seeing out there!
