HOTH BATTLES ASSORTMENT

The Hoth Battles assortment appears to be along the lines of the old Ultimate Battle Packs.  They're multipacks that will feature multiple figures along with vehicles and/or accessories.  And with 2010 being the 30th anniversary of the theatrical released of THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK there's little surprise that these sets are centered around some of the larger set pieces from the Battle of Hoth.

Both of these sets are slated as retail exclusives.  At this time it is unclear what retailer will be offering these multipacks.  But they are set to retail at $39.99 each, and should be available around October, 2010.

ATTACK ON HOTH – This is the Imperial themed set and features several items including 3 figures, a crew served weapon and a vehicle.  Those are:

     AT-ST walker in Hoth deco
     E-Web crew served heavy blaster
     AT-ST Driver (new)
     2 x Imperial Snowtroopers

DEFENSE OF HOTH – This is the Rebel Alliance multipack and features some surprising items.  Among them is the long awaited running change to 2008's TLC BLUE Hoth Rebel Trooper figure.  But that's not the only item of interest in this multipack.  Here's the lineup:

     Laser turret
     Anti-Vehicle Laser Cannon & power supply
     K-3PO
     Hoth Rebel Trooper (re-deco of TLC BLUE BD42)
     Hoth Rebel Trooper (clean shaven running change of TLC BLUE BD42)
