STAR WARS: THE BOUNTY HUNTER SERIES
IG-88 ARTFX STATUE

A KOTOBUKIYA Japanese import! The acclaimed series of Kotobukiya ARTFX Statues expands with the addition of the highest requested characters from the Star Wars universe: THE BOUNTY HUNTER SERIES!

From the darkest chapter of the saga, Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, Darth Vader has summoned six of the fiercest mercenaries in the universe: Dengar, 4-LOM, Zuckuss, Bossk, Boba Fett, and the mechanical terror known as IG-88.

Under commission of the Galactic Empire, Holowan Labratories created the elite assassin droid IG-88…but may have done their job all too well, as IG-88’s first action was to murder his designers and creators. Quickly establishing itself as the top bounty hunter in the galaxy (second only to Boba Fett), the “Phlutdroid” is both utilized and feared by the Empire.

The deadly droid stands over 11 inches tall, and has special articulated shoulders, allowing you to pose him as you wish: raising or aiming his dual weapons, including his trademark BlasTech DLT-20A blaster rifle. Every piston, every wire, every mechanical detail has been meticulously recreated utilizing the vast reference material from the Lucasfilm archives – including angles and views of the robot that never appeared on camera in Empire.

Each of the Bounty Hunters will include special bonus parts for you to collect. Once all six Hunters have been released, you will be able to assemble the bonus parts into a brand new, full size DARTH VADER ARTFX Statue!  A free $100 value given at no additional cost!  The bases in this series can be linked together on any side, creating a variety of display options for the full series of characters. Line them up as first seen in Empire, or use the Darth Vader as a centerpiece to assemble the bases to create the symbol of the Galactic Empire!  IG-88’s bonus part is: Darth Vader’s Display Base

That is a lot of bounty to be hunted, so let’s review…

  • A new ARTFX Statue each month, six in total
  • Interlocking bases, which can be arranged to form the Imperial logo
  • Bonus figure parts that can be assembled into a full size Darth Vader statue
  • Additional bonus parts will also be included so that Vader can be displayed in three different poses

With its large scale and impeccable paint applications, this ARTFX Statue is a snap-fit kit that can be easily put together in seconds without glue or modeling skill. Look for a new Bounty Hunter each month!
