More The Black Series 6" Figure Listings and Pre-Orders On Amazon

Posted by Chuck | August 19, 2016 at 10:26 AM ET

More The Black Series pre-order links on Amazon! Many of these are still listed under code names, but you can still secure the pre-order by visiting the links below! A big thanks to JTA reader rivesjunctionite for digging these up! Get those pre-orders in while they are still at this price! Best guess as to the code names in brackets below, but obviously not confirmted until Amazon updates the titles...

UPDATE: JTA reader Hitchcock writes in with his own thoughts about the recent Amazon listings. Great stuff here and I wanted to add it to the article for further information/speculation! Click through to see what he has to say!

I think I may have some additional information that can help clear up any confusion surrounding the figure listings and who is who.

This is all based on some research I’ve done recently.

Shark leader: based on information from JTA and other sites. I really do think this is Director Krennic who’s scheduled to come out in the second wave of figures this fall.  Also the Walmart listing for shark trooper deluxe, via NowInStock, reads as Rogue One death trooper on Walmart’s site.

Shark Trooper Yellow: I think you’re right and this is the shore trooper.

Tertiary Hero Droid: I think this is TFA C-3PO.  When I click on the link for the Walmart listing of this figure on NowInStock it shows up as  SW 29 E7 Tertiary Hero Droid, which seems to indicate 3PO.

Seal Seer: I don’t think this is Jyn.  The name makes me thingk it’s Chirrut but I have no evidence to back that up.

Seal Weaponizer:  I don’t think this is Cassian.  I think it’s Baze but again no evidence to support.

Darth Vader: Obviously this is Darth Vader, so why is he included?

[Direct Link] to a JTA article from May.  In that article all three of these character names are listed as forthcoming black series characters.  Now as all the other figures have been listed as being part of forthcoming waves I am wondering if perhaps these three figures may be amazon exclusives.  No evidence to support this theory, but as we know the pack out for wave 1 and wave 2, and have a pretty good sense that Wave 3 will include Leia, Sabine, Snowtrooper, Revan, and 3PO, and maybe a repack, these figures would either be wave 4 or a possible exclusive.  Also these figures are currently only showing up via Amazon and are not crosslisted on Walmart.  Granted they also don’t have a listing for Shark Leader so that pokes a hole in my theory.  And also Walmart does have figures listed via NowInStock that we know are general releases that don’t currently have an Amazon listing; Green Seal leader, Seal team Communication, Seal Team Droid.
