We have another unbelievable store report and if you live in the mid-south you really need to pay attention. It seems as if leftover The Vintage Collection figures are making their way to a discount chain called Bargain Hunt (right now they are only in IN, KY, TN, MS, AL and GA). This particular report comes from Knoxville, TN. But JTA reader John W. has a little more info for you, so click through for more. (And by the way, don't get too excited. You'll see what we mean in a moment.) According to John's report, these stores pick up returns from TARGET. How "funny" would it be if this is where all those figures ended up? Anyway, if you have a location near you, good luck and let us know what you find!
Update: Lexington, KY location has the same deal. Details after the jump! If you find similar deals/locations please post them in our comments!
Here's a picture of a TVC find this weekend at the Bargain Hunt store in Knoxville, TN. If you don't know what a Bargain Hunt is, they sell overstock and returned items from Amazon, Target, and JC Penneys (to name a few stores). I was excited to see the end cap full of figures, but the depressing part was they were all the same figure.
Thanks,
John W.
I stoppled by my Lexington, KY location on the way home. Pretty much the same story (albeit not on pegs but crammed on a shelf). There were a few other discounted figures as well. Nothing to jump for joy about, but worth noting.
