Q: Howdy Paul. I was walking through my local Barnes & Noble and noticed The Black Series Figures. While looking through the stack I found a Greedo in a Han Solo's box. Would this be considered rare or valuable due to its packaging dificiency? Thank you for your time. (Jacob)

A: Hey Jacob. This depends on who is interested in buying a factory error like this. Is it rare? Probably. Do most collectors care? Probably not. In 2007, I was shocked to find a VTSC Luke Skywalker (Bespin Fatigues) on a VTSC Princess Leia Organa (Combat Poncho) card back. I didn't want the error, so I put it on eBay. I got $50 bucks for it. Yes, I was shocked and I almost felt bad for the buyer. (Not really.) So clearly it was more valuable to someone else than it was to me. I don't think things like this will stand the test of time, and in this age of thieves repackaging the wrong figures and returning them, you may come across as a little unscrupulous to a bidder or buyer, even if you're completely innocent, sadly. I would recommend staying away from things like this, because you might become guilty by association.
