Research Droids Reviews: August 8, 2012 – August 14, 2012

Admiral Motti - Mini Busts
We believe for the first time ever we may be speechless about a Star Wars collectible. Our lack of words don’t stem from awe or from being thoroughly impressed. It originates from confusion. Admiral Motti has become quite an underground hero for Star Wars fans.... (read the full review)

Utapau Shadow Trooper - ROTS - Basic (Exclusive)
Why did we get an Utapau Shadow Trooper before a regular 212th Attack Battalion clone trooper? The Utapau Shadow Trooper (described as a commander on the figure’s card back) is unique in many ways. But it’s perhaps most unique because it is completely a Hasbro concept.... (read the full review)

Holographic Yoda (Kashyyyk Transmission) - ROTS - Basic (Exclusive)
Are you tired of purple holographic Star Wars figures? We thought we would want to see every character (who appeared this way in the Star Wars films) done up in this very plain way, but we have to admit it’s becoming a little bit boring. Holographic Emperor Palpatine - ROTS - Basic (Exclusive)
Who can forget the moment in Revenge Of The Sith when Darth Sidious executes Order 66 and the Republic as we’d known it in Episode I and II becomes the Galactic Empire? Scout Walker (AT-ST) - TVC - Vehicles (Exclusive)
The Scout Walker (AT-ST) has made another reappearance in the Hasbro toy line. But this time its arguably the best way to get. Hasbro has indeed made some improvements when compared to the original 2009 LC AT-ST (All Terrain Scout Transport) Walmart exclusive and the one that was included with 2010’s SW [SOTDS] Attack On Hoth TARGET exclusive.... Ahsoka (SCUBA Gear) - SW [TPM 3D] - The Clone Wars (CW15)
We hope that before you begin reading this review that you tuck away any personal emotion or preconceived notions about the latest figures in The Clone Wars line. We urge you to have ears to hear what we have to say because so many of you have become bitter with the lack of articulation that the latest offerings have been given.... (read the full review)

Clone Commander Wolffe - SW [TPM 3D] - The Clone Wars (CW17)
Here we go again! Another figure that looks absolutely fantastic yet is made to suffer due to its lack of articulation. The Wolfpack Battalion in general has been very popular amongst fans of The Clone Wars and we have waited especially long to see a phase II interpretation of Clone Commander Wolffe....
