Well, we had a "good laugh" (more like frustrated sarcasm) about this in the final quarter of 2011; that the hard to find figures would be hitting discount chains soon enough. And it's happened! Although HomeSense is a Canadian retailer, it's the same company as TJMaxx (as well as Marshalls and HomeGoods) in the USA. Our advice? Start stalking TJMaxx if you want some rare figures from The Vintage Collection because it looks as if that's who's got them now. Click through to see what JTA Canadian reader Jamie D. has found in this unbelievably believable turn of events!
Stopped by a HomeSense (same owners as Winners, a lot like TJ Maxx) (Editor's Note: It actually is the same company as TJ Maxx in the USA.) here in Kanata, Ontario because my wife said they had some TVC figures, including a Darth Star Escape Luke, which I want to customize... Imagine my surprise when I find *2* Bastilla Shan figures! At $5.99! They also had a few Ponda Babas, Hoth Troopers, Lograys & Wickets.
Oh and it's my birthday. Happy birthday to me! :)
