At one time, Mos Pelgo marshal Cobb Vanth was custodian of Boba Fett's Mandalorian armor, which he bought off of Jawa traders.

Hey, suckers! Hasbro thinks you’re so stupid that they know you’ll pay $24.99 for a $16.99 action figure. Their Deluxe figure program is a scam. And the barking and clapping seals need to use their influence to stop this turpitude in the 3.75-inch super-articulated action figure line. Hasbro expressed that they’ve discontinued the boxed Deluxe figures and will now come on an extra-large card to stay in the theme of what The Vintage Collection is all about 50% packaging and 50% action figure. But don’t be fooled. Cobb Vanth (Mandalorian Armor) is a standard or basic action figure in faux Deluxe packaging, and Hasbro should hang their heads in shame. There is no way Hasbro can classify Cobb Vanth (Mandalorian Armor) as a Deluxe figure. And Hasbro needs to stop this bologna because their dwindling collector base is getting smaller and smaller. The good news is that Cobb Vanth (Mandalorian Armor) is an excellent action figure, and we believe collectors will appreciate what Hasbro has accomplished here.

A general release action figure, Cobb Vanth (Mandalorian Armor) has eight accessories. These include an interchangeable helmeted portrait, a removable scarf, a blaster rifle, a blaster pistol, a removable jetpack with a removable rocket, and two flame effects. All of the accessories interact well with the figure. Due to the interchangeability, you can configure Cobb Vanth (Mandalorian Armor) in various ways that match how we see the character in The Mandalorian series. The likeness of the action figure is excellent. We would have liked to see a slight shading and texture in the hair, but overall, we believe you will be satisfied with how it looks. Cobb Vanth (Mandalorian Armor) comes with a lot of half-toning paint operations to recreate the worn look of the armor. We feel the weaponry is too light on paint operations, but you may not care since most weapons are black throughout the line. It’s nice to see Hasbro including additional portraits with figures, but that doesn’t mean they should cost more.

Cobb Vanth (Mandalorian Armor) comes with a wealth of super-articulation. The figure looks mostly all-new. They may have reused a part here or there, but it uses the new ball-socket hips. This relatively new articulation point and “rocker” ankles allow you to pose Cobb Vanth (Mandalorian Armor) in various ways. The figure has a good center of gravity, and posing it is relatively simple. Admittedly, the action figures on the extra-large card look ridiculous, but Hasbro chose an excellent still, bringing many characters to this action figure. Still, we wish Hasbro would make their “Deluxe” figures fit into a standard card. With so much airspace in the bubble, there is no reason why they cannot pack accessories more tightly together and take advantage of the wasted space. Cobb Vanth (Mandalorian Armor) has an MSRP of $24.99, which is laughable. Why didn’t Bo-Katan come to us as a Deluxe figure? Hasbro is inconsistent with what they do for many action figures in this line. It’s frustrating.
