Galen Marek, code name "Starkiller," was a Force-sensitive human who became Darth Vader's apprentice during the Galactic Empire's reign.

It took Hasbro long enough. After they make collectors pay excessive money to buy the Starkiller action figure paired with two repeated Stormtroopers, the figure is now available singly and part of the basic figure line in the tail end of 2023. The figure is gorgeous. The likeness to model Sam Witwer is uncanny. The figure looks like a miniature version of the human actor. Based on the basic outfit of the Starkiller figure in the Star Wars: The Force Unleashed video game, Hasbro designed a relatively flawless action figure interpretation of the fan-favorite character in the 6-inch basic figure line for the first time. Starkiller has a wealth of articulation, and Hasbro beautifully painted the action figure and faithfully replicated the character’s details and features. What’s most disappointing, however, is the lack of accessories. Hasbro loaded almost every 3.75-inch version of Starkiller with many accessories, but for the 6-inch version, we only get two: a hilt and a detachable red lightsaber blade. To say this is a disappointment is a massive understatement, but this approach seems to be the way for Hasbro regarding the figures in The Black Series lineup. We anticipate that Starkiller will do quite well at the retail level. We rarely get believable male Star Wars characters in the toy line anymore. Hence, a well-established male character full of toxic masculinity is a fresh and exciting thing to see in a sea of pathetic new Disney Star Wars characters. Starkiller should meet your expectations as an action figure, and we hope it performs well so that Hasbro can produce all the different versions for their various Star Wars toy lines.
