RC-1262, nicknamed Scorch, serves under the Galactic Republic's clone army as a part of the Delta Squad, a squad of Republic Commandos created to infiltrate, dominate, and ultimately annihilate the enemy.

It is laziness manifested again! RC-1262 (Scorch) is 95% reused parts. And collectors have to get used to this. Besides the new portrait, the Republic Commando helmet, and a starkly contrasting paint job, these characters from Republic Commando are mostly all the same. For RC-1262 (Scorch), we also get a leg canister attachment. It’s not enough difference for the discriminating 6-inch collectors waiting for Hasbro to bring forth the latest and greatest with every successive action figure released in this format. What makes RC-1262 (Scorch) feel painful is Hasbro’s laziness. They didn’t attempt to bring any newness or freshness to the action figure. It is a 100% “copy and paste” of past Republic Commando action figures. Moreover, the backpack and the chest armor still haven’t been updated. Also, the arms are the same, and the blaster is the same. They didn’t do anything to make this figure screen-accurate to the video game character. Despite the setbacks, the figure has excellent articulation, but the legs still cause some grief. It’s a bit difficult to pose the figure in a kneeling position. Also, some running or action-oriented poses don’t turn out as you wish, thanks to the complexity of Hasbro trying to work in premium articulation while hiding it under clone armor like knee pads. The worst part about RC-1262 (Scorch) is the price. They set the MSRP at a laughable $28.99. When will Hasbro and its retail partners reach the ceiling with this overpriced line of plastic toys? It’s beyond ridiculous at this point.
