Meet the muscle of the Ghost team. Garazeb "Zeb" Orrelios was a cunning Lasat Honor Guard who adopted the cause of rebellion against the Empire.

For many collectors, Garazeb "Zeb" Orrelios quickly became one of the most revered characters in Star Wars Rebels. Unfortunately, Hasbro made 6" collectors wait for too inexcusably long to release the character in the 6" line. But to their credit, Hasbro waited until a landmark event to get the action figure "out there" to collectors. Out of nowhere, Hasbro discretely retired The Black Series [Phase III] line look. There will still be some products that continue to release in the line look, but it's officially retired. Then, to launch The Black Series [Phase IV] line, Hasbro gathered together all of their past efforts of Star Wars Rebels 6" figures. And then they comprised a wave of figures including the all-new Garazeb "Zeb" Orrelios figure to launch the newest line look for the 6" range of Star Wars action figures. In our opinion, they're the perfect cast of characters to launch a new line look. The new "Phase IV" 6" line packaging is quite colorful. Hasbro decided to bring back "color coding" as they did in The Saga Collection line to denote a character's source. Well, what group of characters are more colorful than The Ghost crew? "Purple" officially designates Star Wars Rebels in the Phase IV packaging, so the question to ask not is if we'll see ay other characters with purple color flashes on the box! The short story here is that Garazeb "Zeb" Orrelios got released in a flurry of activity, but that didn't take away any of the appreciation collectors for the gesture of finally getting the beloved Star Wars Rebels character into the 6" lineup.

Simply stated, Garazeb "Zeb" Orrelios is a stunning work of art. We were certain Hasbro would make multiple shortcuts on the figure because of the all-new body style, and more massive proportions of the character. But they didn't. Garazeb "Zeb" Orrelios comes with an astounding articulation system and comes with more points of articulation than the standard The Black Series 6" figure. The character is a Lasat, the species has an unusual body type, especially when it comes to the legs. There are two specific areas of articulation below the knee, including a hock and ankle combination. (Think of 2006's TSC Hem Dazon (SAGA 033) figure.) These areas of the figure provide ample movement and are functional beyond expectations. The rest of the figure has fluid movement, and it's quite easy to move the figure's parts around as needed. Some might interpret the ease of movement as loose joints, but they're not. They move easily to assist you with posing the figure. Remembering that Garazeb "Zeb" Orrelios is colorful, Hasbro gave the figure incredible paint operations. We're happy to report that Zeb comes beautifully decorated. The skin's zebra-like pattern to the details etched into the armor, and the figure offers the authenticity of the on-screen character, but with a premium realistic style. The base color is purple, but you'll find plenty of other colors throughout the figure, including yellow, green, and tan. The figure's head sculpt is fantastic. Hasbro implemented Photo Real to capture lifelike features into this action figure. You're going to be pleased.

Garazeb "Zeb" Orrelios comes with a sophisticated blaster rifle staff. It's officially called a Lasan Honor Guard AB-75 Bo-Rifle and beaks down into three distinct parts. It fits perfectly in the figure's squarely cupped right hand, and you can tell that Hasbro put a great deal of thought into the accessory. The electro effects are removable. And with them removed, you can fully utilize the B-Rifle as a "gun." Interestingly, you can twist the ends as needed to attain a bunch of different configurations of the weapon. Whether off the shoulder or aimed in the hands, Garazeb "Zeb" Orrelios can do it all thanks to Hasbro's talented work. Unfortunately, that's all that comes with this figure. It would have been nice if Garazeb "Zeb" Orrelios arrived with a few more accessories to justify the $29.99 MSRP. We still don't' understand why Hasbro cannot cost out the 6" line like they do with the 3.75" line. No matter the size of the figure, all should cost the same price. A more significant character should not mean a bigger price tag. But it doesn't seem to bother as many collectors as it should. Still, it's a beautiful thing to finally have Garazeb "Zeb" Orrelios in the 6" line. The character was a long time coming in The Black Series 6" line, and we think it's perfect that Hasbro made Garazeb "Zeb" Orrelios part of the "line launch" fourth phase of The Black Series 6' line. There are many other characters from Star Wars Rebels that Hasbro should consider adding to the line as soon as possible. Now that we have a complete The Ghost crew, perhaps it's time to start focusing on the villains from the series again.
