Ahsoka Tano makes up part of the first wave of Mission Fleet figure, a line of 2” Star Wars action figure paired with a relevant accessory, whether it be a vehicle or something more like a more significant weapon. The Ahsoka Tano release is a decent set too. The Clone Wars are hot right now, and it was smart of Hasbro to include one of the main characters from that franchise to launch this line while having something relevant at brick and mortar during the source’s peak. If you have one of the Mission Fleet figures, you know what to expect. The well-articulated miniature figures come with nine points of articulation across seven areas. Impressively, Hasbro added ball-jointed shoulders to give the action figures as wide of a range of movement as possible in their upper bodies. This extra articulation is required for them to manipulate their “accessories.” Ahsoka Tano turned out decently. A mix of both a realistic approach with a heavy animated concentration, the figure looks like the on-screen character, but with exaggerated features like large hands and feet. The head sculpt of Ahsoka Tano is excellent. It’s quite amazing how well Hasbro applied the multiple layers of paint on this action figure’s portrait at this tiny scale. You can see how well Hasbro applied the paint operations. Ahsoka Tano comes with both the shorter shotu, as well as the longer lightsaber, and both have correct green blades. There is enough movement in the figure’s arms to pose Ahsoka Tano in action-oriented poses with the lightsabers. Also included is a scaled-down Republic assault submarine, first released as the Republic Assault Submarine With SCUBA Clone Trooper in the Star Wars [The Phantom Menace 3D] line. While a SCUBA Trooper makes the most sense to pair with a vehicle like this, we still feel that it gives Ahsoka Tano a new take and adds additional play value if you have a younger Star Wars fan in mind. The amount of detail in the vehicle is unprecedented. You can have Ahsoka Tano ride it with steering column up, and there are two slots to store the lit lightsaber as well! Ahsoka Tano comes with an MSRP of $7.99, a steal for what Hasbro offered here. If you like miniature figures, then the Star Wars Mission Fleet line is for you.
