Figrin D'an and the Modal Nodes, members of the INtergalactic Federation of Musicians, were once Jabba the Hutt's full-time resident entertainers. An intergalactic jizz band, Figrin D'an and the Modal Nodes were the best band on Tatooine until they broke Jabba's exclusive contract to play for Lady Valarian's wedding reception and receive 3,000 credits.

Planning to get the money and leave the planet, all was running smoothly until an argument erupted between the bride and the groom, with Imperial stormtroopers arriving shortly thereafter. The party was being raided for illegal gambling, one of Figrin D'an's favorite past times.

The band narrowly escaped the scene and managed to save the life of a bartender, who, in turn, brought them to a cantina where they were offered a two-season contract.

Then, a Devaronian made an offer to Figrin that he simply could not refuse; he challenged 'ol "Fiery Figrin" to a game of sabacc! By the end of the game, the Devaronian owned all of the band members' instruments, except for Doikk Na'ts' Fizzz. The band was unable to leave Tatooine until all of the instruments were bought back.

Eventually, Figrin D'an and the Modal Nodes recovered all the instruments and departed Tatooine to perform at millions of lounge clubs and revues throughout the galaxy!

Authentically styled straight from Star Wars, Figrin D'an and the Modal Nodes come complete with their signature instruments. This special edition 12" figure assortment, available for the first time ever, is destined to become a classic collectible.

MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU!

If there’s one set of figures that won’t get the credit they fully deserve and will refuse to age throughout the years, it’s the Cantina Band line of Collector Series figures exclusive to Walmart. More commonly known as Figrin D’an and the Modal Nodes, the Cantina Band comprises six individual figures, each paired with a unique instrument. Kenner/Hasbro appears to have utilized a new buck for the Biths as the figures are more streamlined, more articulated, and overall better-looking figures than others in the Collector Series format. Kenner/Hasbro instituted a running change on the figures, and you’ll find figures with or without painted warts on the heads. Six figures are available in this collection. These include Figrin D'an (With Kloo Horn), Doikk Na'ts (With Fizzz), Ickabel (With Fanfar), Nalan (With Bandfill), Tech (With Ommni Box), and Tedn (With Fanfar). Together, the Cantina Band looks fantastic, and are some of the standout figures in the entire Star Wars toy line. They’ll hold up well throughout the years, and we’re thrilled that Kenner/Hasbro produced them.
