Well, Hasbro tooled an all-new figure for The Vintage Collection, which translates to having to charge a "Deluxe" price. Even though the all-new Paz Vizsla has about the same number of accessories as the recently released Hunter figure, they decided it would cost collectors approximately 87% more. It's all a scam, and as evidenced by their recent earnings reports, collectors are sick and tired of the smoke and mirrors. It's time for the Hasbro Star Wars brand to be more affordable, more enjoyable, and ultimately more of something that engages and brings smiles rather than anger and dismay. Look, Paz Vizsla is a great, bulky action figure that will impress The Mandalorian Disney+ series fans. Hasbro knows how to make incredible action figures, which isn't the point. We're attempting to express why the line is tanking, and Hasbro is losing its core audience in droves. What's the point of making incredible action figures if the line ends? What good does it do for Hasbro to "profit" but lose the soul of the Star Wars brand when they so callously do stupid things repeatedly?

Paz Vizsla is an all-new figure with a wealth of articulation and a stunning paint job. The figure is weighty and bulky, and precisely how the character is in the show. The articulation is impressive, and the figure easily achieves almost any pose you choose. The figure does come with a respectable amount of accessories, and they all interact well with the figure. The removable jetpack comes hosed on one end, and you can attach the included blaster rifle on the other end. Thanks to excellent design, Paz Vizsla holds the blaster rifle with both hands perfectly and with screen accuracy. You can also attach the blaster rifle to the side of the jetpack when not being used. They also included a knife. It gets lost in the toilet paper baggie. We missed it initially. Hasbro remembered every detail here, and that's a testament to their ability to make gorgeous and screen-accurate action figures... when they want to do this for us. The figure has a remarkable center of gravity, and you can pose the figure while holding the "heavy" blaster rifle. You can adjust the figure's footing to help you balance it while interacting with its accessories. Again, you'll like what you find here.

Hasbro also included a few novelty accessories here. They're all "effects," so if you're into such things, you may find them boring. Hasbro included a blast effect for the tip of the blaster rifle. This accessory is our favorite of the bunch. It helps to give the weapon an extra feel of realism. It's an excellent fit for the blaster too. Hasbro also threw in two blast effects that attach to the jetpack. These are standard inclusions here but are relatively useless. Unless you have Paz Vizsla in "flight," we don't see how their inclusion is all that useful. You may or may not feel differently about this. Lastly, Hasbro included a "deflection" shield energy effect (or at least that's what we believe it is). The figure has a tiny hole drilled into its left arm and plugs in tightly. It helps add some extra play and display value for the figure, and, admittedly, looks fantastic in certain poses. Overall, Paz Vizsla is easily a $14.99 action figure. Hasbro needs to stop scamming its customer base. Unless a "deluxe" figure comes with a dozen accessories, there is NO WAY they can justify the laughable MSRP for a figure like this.
