It’s time to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of Return Of The Jedi with many repacks. But at least Princess Leia (Endor) is one of the decent ones. With slightly new paint operations this time, the figure feels refreshed and necessary to celebrate the film and stands out as one of the key characters from Episode VI. Besides, Princess Leia (Endor) is two figures in one, and if you remove the poncho and helmet, you’re left with the General Leia Organa alternate take. You can’t beat getting two outfits in one action figure. Princess Leia Organa (Endor) is stunning. The figure is the correct height and has screen-accurate stature and posture. Hasbro developed a full costume underneath the poncho, so you’ll have no issues recreating the scenes on the Home One or in the thick of the Battle of Endor. Despite the ignorance of many Disney Trilogy fans that Leia finally became a general in Episode VII, she was already a general for years prior in Star Wars Episode VI: Return Of The Jedi. We’re disappointed not to see a nameplate update reflecting “general.” Hasbro did a marvelous job on every detail of the figure. The hair is perfect. The facial sculpt is a dead ringer for Carrie Fisher. And the costuming and physical proportions of the character are spot on to what we see on screen.

Hasbro also paid careful attention to the coloring throughout the figure. The skin tone is perfect. And the figure’s brown eyes glitter in the light. And they nailed the odd blue-toned color of the pants, which we won’t dismiss as a simple task. Again, everything here is perfectly put together. Some paint operation changes are applied here, but they’re slight, and you won’t notice unless viewing a side-by-side comparison. There is no way Star Wars collectors won’t be happy with this action figure. The figure is all-new and has a relatively excellent articulation system. You’ll find that Princess Leia (Endor) comes loaded with premium ball-jointed articulation. Some later enhancements like “butterfly” shoulder joints aren’t included here, but you don’t need them. This action figure attains a wealth of poses thanks to the high level of engineering and forethought that went into its approach. Whether running, standing, aiming, leaping, or poised for action, Princess Leia (Endor) can do it all. The figure has an excellent center of gravity, and you’ll discover that posing the figure on one foot is easily achievable, as well as some of the more action-oriented poses or keeling poses. This figure can do it all.

Hasbro designed Princess Leia (Endor) to interact with things already established in the line. For example, if you place this figure on the previously released Speeder Bike, you’ll be amazed at how well the figure interacts with it. While Princess Leia (Endor) might not fully reach the pedals, the figure still looks incredible driving it. We can’t wait to set up the full Speeder Bike Chase with all the necessary parties. It will be one diorama scene worth creating! We should also mention Princess Leia Organa (Endor) interacts beautifully with case mate Luke Skywalker (Endor). They are well-proportioned to one another and look like they’ve jumped out of the screen into your collection. You’re going to love them, too. Perhaps the accessories are the most remarkable things about Princess Leia (Endor). We were blown away by how well Hasbro designed them all, and maybe we’re most impressed with how well they interact or fit on the action figure. Hasbro produced a poncho that fits the figure well. Some will say the colors are too bright, but we love Hasbro’s interpretation. But the figure’s release celebrates 40 years of Return Of The Jedi. We didn’t necessarily need this figure released again, but it does serve a purpose.
