A hot-headed ex-Imperial sharpshooter, Migs Mayfeld was once the smart-mouthed leader of a gang of criminals.

It only took years, but Hasbro finally gave collectors of The Black Series 6-inch line the “original” version of Mig Mayfeld as the character appeared in the first season of The Mandalorian. The mostly all-new figure reuses the head sculpt of the Migs Mayfeld (Morak) figure released previously, but the rest of the figure is new, from what we can tell. Also, the figure comes with more accessories than most of Hasbro’s Deluxe figures do, so it shows their inconstancy with the line and how they mark things up by character tax instead of the actual cost. Hasbro worked an inordinate amount of detail into Migs Mayfeld, and the utility-inspired outfit is reminiscent of what Bodhi Rook would wear or someone similar. The character comes with four of the same blaster pistol. And there is a holster for each of them located somewhere on the figure. Migs Mayfeld also comes with a folding blaster attached to a backpack accessory. You install the backpack into a slot on the figure’s back. But let us tell you that it’s a royal pain in the butt to get it to stay there, and when you pose the figure, you risk it falling out each time, which happened to us. If you enjoy The Mandalorian, then likely this figure is for you. But we have to admit that the Hasbro Star Wars line is becoming increasingly dull. And we seem to get random additions to the line instead of a cast of characters that you grow to develop your displays and collection. At least this figure is a general-release item and not an exclusive.
