Another character released in the first wave of Mission Fleet figure is the Clone Trooper. Interestingly, the Clone Trooper has more of an animated look than the other three figures in the way. It strongly resembles 2012’s SW [TPM 3D] Clone Trooper (Phase II Armor) (CW2) figure, complete with missing black visor rim and other details that help shape the white armored pieces. Like all of the figures in the Mission Fleet line, the Clone Trooper has nine articulation points across seven areas. Impressively, Hasbro added ball-jointed shoulders, which gives the figure decent movement in the upper body. Probably the simplest figure in the Mission Fleet line thus far, the Clone Trooper is still a lovely release and a great army builder for collectors. If you collected in 2005 during the Revenge Of The Sith line, you probably remember the Deluxe Clone Trooper figure. It came with a jetpack with articulated wings. Well, Hasbro paired the Mission Fleet Clone Trooper with the same “accessory,” and it looks incredible. The wings are slightly articulated but don’t expect to collapse them entirely. There is a thick pin that plugs into the hole on the Clone Trooper’s back. The figure is so cool, and we don’t understand anyone who doesn’t find this line charming. The Clone Trooper also comes with a DC-15 blaster, which fits both if its hand quite well. We understand that the Mission Fleet line is not for everyone, but thank goodness Hasbro isn’t producing any Sequel Trilogy toys at the moment. The last thing this line needs is Rey, Finn, or Poe.
