From an oceanic moon, Jannah leads a band of warriors, ready to charge against the forces of the First Order.

Jannah is the product of what you’d get if you crossed Daryl and Michonne from The Walking Dead in a future season of the show. Looking like a combination of someone who’s partially renegade as well as someone who marches to the beat of her own drum, Jannah is a character we’re interested to see developed in Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise Of Skywalker. This opinion, of course, is all speculation as we know nothing about the character. And while we never encourage anyone to judge a character by how she looks, we’re merely noting the style she presents in the Star Wars saga. She utilizes simplistic weapons, she wears clothing that has a native feel to it, and she also possesses modernism that we haven’t see in a Star Wars film. She’s truly an enigma. And the sooner we learn more about her, the happier we’ll become. Whatever her status in the film, Hasbro produced another stellar interpretation of a Sequel Trilogy character. Jannah is unlike any other Star Wars character we’ve seen produced. She is exquisitely detailed and comes with more accessories than the average action figure. With her rugged, oceanic appearance with a contemporary style mixed in for good measure, Jannah will unequivocally become one of the more popular action figures in The Black Series [Phase III] 6” line. The only detail we don't like on her is the red sandals.

Jannah comes with some interesting accessories. Her blaster pistol is unlike any weapon we’ve seen in the Star Wars line to date. And if we didn’t know better, we’d be inclined to believe that it’s a lost prop from Pirates Of The Caribbean. Very pirate-like in style, the blaster is designed to fit in her right hand, and you can house it in her functioning holster when not in use of when she’s holding the other accessories. Her cape is also very distinct. Do you remember the 2004 Star Wars “Saga” [Phase III] Ewok With Attack Glider (Assault On Endor) Ultra set and how the hang glider was translucent and looked like animal skin? Well, that’s what Jannah’s cape looks like to us. The light permeates it, and it has textures that are reminiscent of animal skin, although we don’t know if it’s made from that material with any certainty. Sadly, with the new way that Hasbro designs the portraits of the 6” figures, it’s nearly impossible to remove head so you can take off the cape. And we didn’t have time to do a boil and pop to compare. But the cape is a completely different accessory, and it only looks correct hanging ONE WAY off of the figure’s shoulders. So be sure you have it lined up properly before you display her. We’d had loved the option to pose her with or without the cape, but that’s disappointingly not an easy option.

But that’s not all Jannah comes with for weaponry. Hasbro designed a highly-detailed bow that comes with arrows and a quiver. The bow comes with a strap that dislodges from one side of it. This feature allows you to wrap the strap around her body and over her shoulder so she can wear it. The same feature is available for the quiver (but the quiver’s strap is completely removable). Without many reference materials to study, it’s difficult to know if we got it 100% right in the Photo Gallery, but hopefully, you catch the gist of how these accessories are intended to interact with the figure. Hasbro designed her left hand to accommodate the bow. It has a wide enough of a grip to fit around the stock of the box, as well as an extended thumb to give the “hold’ some additional support. She comes with two arrow accessories. One is a single arrow that interacts with the bow (you can have her “fire” an arrow as needed). The other is a bundle of arrows together to fill the quiver quickly. You get a lot to play with here and the accent the figure incredibly well. It might not be entirely inaccurate to refer to Jannah as some type of pirate in the Star Wars universe. She has a look that fits that bill (partially), but her accessories reinforce it further. Jannah is another beautiful female action figure. We hope her role in Episode IX isn’t wasted on such a great-looking character.
