Celebrate the legendary Star Wars saga that changed the universe forever! This collection brings to life the incredible story of good versus evil that captured our imagination and took us to a galaxy far, far away. Iconic Star Wars heroes and villains are captured with incredible detail and premium features to commemorate each epic tale in the Star Wars saga. May the Force be with you!

The Vintage Collection isn’t satisfactory with regards to its availability, but if you are fortunate to find them or order them online, you can be sure that Hasbro will surprise you (mostly for the better) time and again. In a collection where most lifelong collectors want to see a focus on characters from the Original Trilogy, Hasbro has been consistent with placing an fair emphasis across the Prequel Trilogy which in turn allowed many Star Wars action figures the splendid opportunity to be placed on the card back from ages ago for the very first time. This is bothers many collectors, but we personally love it. If you love Star Wars in general, should even characters from the last three modern Star Wars films get their chance on packaging that pulls on the heartstrings and makes the action figure look even better than they already are? Perhaps this review isn’t the proper platform to state our case about this, but we have to tell you what wonderful surprise Odd Ball (Clone Pilot) is. We are thoroughly impressed with the latest tweak of this Star Wars character. And it is safe to assume that we have received a definitive update to this cool character from Revenge Of The Sith. You probably recall that after 2005’s ROTS Clone Pilot (III 34) figure came and went that collectors had to wait three years until Hasbro updated the Episode III clone pilots. They did so in 2008’s TLC Imperial Pilot Legacy Evolutions set. But they have surpassed that figure by a landslide with Odd Ball (Clone Pilot). It’s the clone pilot you’ve been wanting for a long time. Trust us!

A great update to the 2005 figure, Hasbro really just upgraded the figure by adding ball-jointed shoulders and elbows which did wonders for it. They also designed a new helmet and chest box with tubes that actually plugged into the helmet separately and decorated the figure in colors to match CT-55/11-9009 (civilians know him as Jai'galaar – or Jag for short). It was our first screen accurate phase II clone pilot. In the Evolutions set this figure was called Clone Pilot (Revenge Of The Sith) and then Hasbro rereleased him in the last waver of The Legacy Collection as 2009’s TLC Clone Pilot (BD 52) figure. Collectors were satisfied, but we still longed for something a little bit better. You’re prayers have been answered. We absolutely have our definitive Clone Pilot body and we hope that Hasbro just starts pumping out all of the characters (by giving each of them their unique helmets) whether they comes via exclusives, Battle Packs or any other medium Hasbro hasn’t killed off yet. Odd Ball (Clone Pilot), whose real name is Davijaan, is such a gorgeous figure and it may steal the show with many of the other figures in the wave he is shipped. Hasbro met our demanding standards with this figure. No annoying leaning, no splotchy paint jobs, tubes that don’t pop out of the helmet if you blink too hard and a pose/stance that they really couldn’t make any better, Odd Ball (Clone Pilot) makes us happier than you could possibly imagine. Even the wrong symbol on his shoulder doesn't bother us, but why can't Hasbro get this right?

The clone pilots were hard to pick out in Episode III. But interestingly, Odd Ball flew with Jag during the Battle of Coruscant in the opening sequence of Revenge Of The Sith. So it’s cool that we have both clone pilots now in our collections that shared a vehicle in the film. (Clone Pilot Jag also seen murdering Plo Koon during Order 66 on Cato Neimoidia where he flew the ARC-170 with R4-P44 as his astromech). And just as they flew together in the film, they’re related in the basic figure line too. Hasbro utilized the “Jag” figure as a basis for Odd Ball. So Odd Ball (Clone Pilot) is a kit-bashed figure that utilizes the torso, arms, cod section and upper legs from the Clone Pilot (Revenge Of The Sith) figure in 2008’s TLC Imperial Pilot Legacy Evolutions set. (We should probably note that the torso, cod section and upper legs originated with 2005’s ROTS Clone Pilot (III 34) figure.) Now Hasbro adds a brilliant all-new head sculpt, helmet/chest box combination accessory and lower legs to knock this figure out of the park. The lower legs also sport ball-jointed ankles, a first for a “clone pilot” character. These joints are well hidden and Hasbro really improved the overall aesthetics of the boots. They match much closer to the Clone Pilot entry first seen in The Visual Dictionary for Revenge Of The Sith. Odd Ball (Clone Pilot) is painted stunningly. The helmet details are jaw-dropping for example and it’s evident. Hasbro really took a keen interest in how this figure was to turn out. It’s just looks incredible. We could talk about this figure all day, but just locate it somehow and buy one. You won’t be sorry at all.
