that had a hard time hunting down even just ONE of those collectors panel medallions this past weekend at CIV
(that would be me) will be tearing their hair out for sure now. It was revealed during
the Coins collecting panel that Celebration Europe will have another 12 medallions

foreign figures and looked quite cool!

Hasbro was the central booth in the whole exhibition hall, so it shouldn't be any surprise that we have another massive gallery from them. Stop by and check out some pictures of their other displays, including titaniums, galactic heroes, transformers, and more!

Posted by Chuck | May 29, 2007 at 02:59 PM ET |
There was alot to do at Celebration IV, but when you needed a break from the crowds, lines, and general hecticness of the exhibition hall, the Fan Fair Hall was the place to go! There was plenty of room to walk around and not feel so cramped, not to mention the awesome creations at every corner! The large scaled X-Wing took center stage in the middle, with the huge diorama of the forest moon of Endor spread out across the floor. There was much to see, so
stop by our gallery to see some of the Fan Fair sites!

There's been alot of buzz over the animated series photos and trailer showing up
here, and during the
Star Wars Animated TV Behing-The-Scenes panel we got answers! Supervising Director Dave Filoni was presented with the question about the legitimacy of this site and the video and said that they have nothing to do with it and it is completely fan made. Well, let's hope that we can see more from this, because they have done a fantastic job!
However, after seeing the newest trailer on the big screen at the event, the animation is
nothing compared to what Lucas Animation is doing!
Posted by Chuck | May 27, 2007 at 06:26 PM ET |
We were teased a few weeks ago with the debut of the poster from the upcoming animated series, and today at the
Star Wars Animated TV Behind-the-Scenes panel we were treated to the world premiere of the trailer for the series! Hands down, this was the most exciting event of CIV, and they were given permission to show this trailer from George Lucas just days before the convention started! The trailer was simply incredible, and Starwars.com has wasted no time in
giving you a chance to see it too, minus the booming THX sound system...

Tales of the New Republic web site continues to expand. Sometime during all of the excitement of C4 a trailer has surfaced and boy it good! If this is not an official Lucasfilm project it should be!! Maybe we'll find something out at the Animated TV panel tomorrow.

Last night the official Opening Ceremonies took place on Celebration stage where we all gathered to enjoy the 30th birthday of
Star Wars! Despite an apparent bomb scare the hall was nearly full to the rim and we were joined by special guests like the mayor of LA, Anita Bizzotte from US Post Office marketing and a stage full of Star Wars stars that spanned the full 30 years of the Saga. We'll give you a verbal rundown of the good, the bad and the cake later on in the day, but for now just enjoy some
great photos of the Celebration!

like Commander Neyo isn't the only Gentle Giant exclusive folks will be on the hunt

maquettes, we'll see Luke Skywalker (X-Wing Pilot), and the new LEGO maquettes will
feature a very cool Shadow Stormtrooper.

information on the upcoming LEGO
Boba Fett maquette. Looks like he has a new paint job and edition size (1,500).
There are still some left to order, but they likely won't last long. Also
noted, packed randomly with some of the previous LEGO maquettes (Stormtrooper

The
volcanic planet of Mustafar has spawned a number of native life-forms, including
the sentient Mustafarians. These insectoid bipeds wear armor that is fashioned from
the castoff shells of their lava flea mounts and can withstand the extreme heat and
splashes involved in mining hot lava.
