Toy Run Tuesday #135 - Death Watch Mandos and ARC Trooper Custom

Hello Toy Runners! I’m pleased as punch to finally have some new toys to talk about. The most recent TVC Wave is showing up in the mail and in some stores. I’m still awaiting several figures from that wave, but I did get my Death Watch mandalorians. Have you gotten your figures yet? Please share in the comments what you’ve found and how you have integrated them in  your displays!

I did a custom Death Watch mandalorian over 2 years ago. Hasbro finally caught up… I’m glad to have the official version. The articulation on this figure is absolutely perfect and makes this such a fun toy to play with. Here is a comparison shot of my custom next to the new official version.

In addition to receiving these Mandos, I finished a custom ARC trooper design that originated in the new Battlefront 2. The cross-hatch design was all hand painted. I’d like to see an official one of these since I’ll never be painting another one of these Cobalt Hero ARC troopers. In fact, I probably wouldn’t have ever done this one. As it happens, someone commissioned me to paint this for them, but they ended up backing out. I decided to finish it anyway because it is a pretty unique design.
