Toy Run Tuesday #65 - Huge Mail Call!

Welcome back, Toy Runners! I’ve been seeing reports of some great finds at Target and mail deliveries of Hascon exclusives lately. I hope we’ll see what you got this last week in the comments. I got a lot of toys this last week… I mean a lot. I didn’t get a chance to take a big group shot, so there will be lots to look at in this article! Click here to check it out!

Where to start? The first delivery I got this week was from amazon. Ordering 4 of these figures ensured I received them in a box, and they came in good condition! While Hasbro has plenty of things I can (and do) nitpick, the quality of their figures is certainly increasing. The addition of rocker ankles back in the line is such a big deal. There is no reason to think TBS or TVC is superior to the other in terms of quality now, as they both have all the same elements, paint, and articulation. I’ve already started working on some ARC trooper customs which will be forthcoming shortly.

In addition to those 4 Fives I got another Fives which makes five Fives…. In other words, I got the ARC trooper 3 pack from Hasbropulse. It was promptly opened and the troopers placed with my small clone display.

I want to make a quick plug for a new line I’m diving headfirst into: the Jazwares 3.75 “World of Halo” line. Jazwares recognizes the importance of world-building in the 3.75 scale, and is including vehicles, and main characters from new media (Halo: Infinite) right off the bat in their starting wave. As a stinging reminder of what used to be, the Halo Warthog vehicle is about a foot long, bulky, and comes with a figure, and is only $30. They scale nicely with Star Wars figures, so I’m sure some Covenant – Republic battles will commence when I get more recruits soon.

I also got 3 more K2so figures from Amazon. It was my favorite TVC figure, but the new ARC troopers may take that spot. I got this many K2’s to go with my custom Cal Kestis figure, but also because I want to make some of the sentry droids seen in the Mandalorian.

Lastly, I’ll share a final photo of my Tonnika sister custom figures I made for someone. I’m quite happy with the results! Check out an amatuer toy photo I took of them in the comments below, too.

That’s all for me this round. Including the Halo figures, I added 14 new figures to my collection this week. Now that I’m broke, next week probably won’t have a lot of new additions… Hope you tune in anyway, though, because I’ve got some fun customs almost finished! Please share your finds and collections in the comments below!
