Toy Run Tuesday # 42 - Purge Troopers and Dogs
Hello everyone! A little late start to my Tuesday today. I have a few new things to share with you for our Toy Run this week. I’m curious to see if anyone has found the Retro Collection at Walmart or the new Boba Fett helmets. Click here to let us know in the comments!
I have a couple exciting new acquisitions this week I’d like to share with you! As a kid (and now) Star Tours was one of my favorite rides. A couple years ago I found the Starspeeder 1000 at a thrift store in complete condition. Probably my best score to date. Since then I’ve slowly built up my collection of Star Tours figures. This last week I got the seeker droid and Aly San San stewardess droids. Unfortunately I don’t have RX-24 “rex” and wish I had bought him a couple years ago before his prices skyrocketed on eBay…
We also got a dog this weekend. Sorry, not Star Wars, but he’s a cool dog. Although his name is Scout which are my favorite troopers (and yes that was partially on purpose).
Lastly, I’ll share a custom Vintage Collection figure I made over the weekend. I used a spare Captain Fordo I had from a while back. The helmet is my own casting. Very happy with how it turned out, but it’s silly I had to make this figure for myself. I literally used all hasbro parts. The only new mold they would need is a special pauldron with the clone bandolier going down the left. But oh well, I will keep making my own!
