Hasbro Should Implement "Carbonized" Deco Into All Figures With Armor And Metal Details!

Initially, I was quite critical of the “Carbonized” variations released as store exclusives for The Black Series [Phase III] line. Over time, I’ve developed an affinity for them. In many instances, I think some of the armored parts and metal parts on the characters look significantly better than the standard painted-plastic treatments. (more….)

With the help of JTA reader Alientek, I asked him to switch out the armored parts on the STANDARD figure with the “Carbonized” parts to see how “Carbonized” deco parts would interact with the standard deco on The Mandalorian figure. I think with a few tweaks, we could have remarkably updated and better-looking figures in the line. The metallic finish on the “Carbonized” figures looks increasingly better, don’t you think? Imagine how much better characters made from “metal” or given an extremely glossy finish would look like in this line. For example, the “Carbonized” Sith Trooper looks infinitely better than the standard figure too. I feel similarly about the First Order Jet Trooper. But figures like Second Sister and The Mandalorian didn’t need the full-body “Carbonized” deco, just parts of them. Your thoughts in the comments, please!
