"Best Of" Celebrate The Saga 5 POA Figure Packs Revealed

A major focus of today’s livestream were the new “Celebrate the Saga” figure packs. These packs will offer highlights from the 5 POA figure line for one last time, Hasbro will put the 5 POA 3.75 in line into the “vault” after that. Hasbro said it doesn’t necessarily mean there will never again be 3.75 in 5 POA figures, but these new sets will be the last thing 5 POA fans will get for a long time.
But Hasbro doesn’t just repack old figures here. To sweeten the deal all 5 POA figures receive photoreal updates (unless it’s a masked character) and some sets also get droids never released in the line before, or for the first time released in a realistic style. Click through to see all the new 5 POA figure sets revealed today!

Let’s look at the new sets revealed today!

The “Celebrate the Saga” sets cover all the nine movies, so there are quite a few all new sets you can get! Each set includes at least one droid, and some of them are even all new!

The figures have received photoreal updates, as you can see!

The set is an Amazon exclusive

Some of the sets are retailer exclusives, the Rebel Alliance set will be available on Amazon!

This set focuses on Imperial Troopers, and this time the set is available at Best Buy!

Of course you also need Sith, and this set offers you a selection of some of the most famous Sith, even though Kylo Ren is not really a Sith, is he? This set is once more a Best Buy exclusive. As you can see TC-4 is also included in the set, he makes his character debut in the line!

And the figures in the box

The prequels are not entirely forgotten about, two sets focus on them!

And it’s the first time R5-A7  is available in a realistic style!

What would Star Wars be without Bounty Hunters? Often the coolest looking characters in the Star Wars universe, so of course there’s also a set focusing on them!

This is yet another set with a droid that makes his character debut in the line! This time it’s Hondo Ohnaka’s droid R5-P8!

And the box

Next up are the clones!

And of course the saga would not be complete without the sequel trilogy, so there are also two sets focusing on the new movies!

First up we have the Resistance, this set is an Amazon exclusive!

The usual suspects

And of course you also need the First Order…

Only Hux gets the photoreal treatment here

So, what do you think about the “last hurrah” for the often maligned 5 POA 3.75 in line? Will you be tempted to buy a few sets to get the new droids? 5 POA figures have certainly never looked better, now that they have photoreal paint apps. So, will you pull the trigger here? What sets are your favorites?

All pre-orders should go live at 4 pm, either on Pulse and most major retailers or the exclusive partner Amazon / Best Buy!
