Toys R Us Liquidation Sales Delayed
Toys R Us liquidation sales were scheduled to begin on Thursday. But JTA reader Josh sent us this photo of his TRU:

Josh asked the employees about the sign but no one could give him any info. So what’s going on here?
A TRU spokesperson told CNN Money earlier today that there will be a delay and that liquidation sales will likely begin Friday now. No further info was given. So it still seems the liquidation sales will happen.
However, it was also reported earlier this week that several vendors want to prevent TRU’s liquidation sale of their stock and want their stock instead returned to them. So maybe there are still some behind the scenes negotiations going on here.
