Can't Or Won't Back The Barge? Back Toys R Us Instead!

MGA Entertainment CEO Isaac Larian is still serious about his efforts to buy up to 400 Toys R Us stores in the USA and to keep the name alive. He and several other unnamed investors have already pledged $200 million. But they need much more money to actually have a chance. Larian needs to raise another $800 million. How to do that? Click through to learn more!

So how does Larian hope to achieve his goal? By starting yet another crowdfunding campaign! Larian has launched a GoFundMe campaign and the deadline for raising the measly additional $800 million is May 28th (Memorial Day).

There are pledge rewards too!

If you pledge less than $49 you’ll get a bumper sticker.
If you pledge more than $10,000,000 you will get the following rewards:
#SaveToysRUs bumper sticker, pin, magnet, “I’ll ALWAYS be a Toys“R”Us Kid” t-shirt, invite to a local Toys“R”Us reopening block party, a signed thank you letter from Isaac Larian, CEO of MGA Entertainment, AND Kid CEO for the Day experience including a trip to a southern California theme park, travel and accommodations, and Toys“R”Us store dedication naming rights for location of your choosing and toys for life from Toys“R”Us

There are plenty of rewards inbetween.

And the good news? People from the UK, France, Germany and several other European countries (including the rich folk from Switzerland) can also back the campaign! Go figure, Hasbro! So, if you have extra money lying around because Hasbro won’t let you back the barge, maybe you’ll want to back TRU instead……

And you may back Larian’s plan to save part of Toys R Us on GoFundMe.
