Now Wouldn't It Be Great If This Could Be Used For Star Wars Products?

Hasbro recently launched a new subscription service called “Hasbro Gaming Crate” and ships a themed crate of three games to the subscribers house every three months. I don’t know about you, but how great would it be if you didn’t have to struggle to find every figure and they just showed up at your door step? Click through to read on.

So as most of you know, Italy offers a sort of subscription service that we reported on previously and so does Spain, but wouldn’t it be great if Hasbro offered something official? Heck, even Amazon or someone like Dorkside Toys could offer a subscription service that automatically sends you the latest figures once a month (or sooner if you wanted to pay the extra shipping). I know I would gladly pay a few extra bucks if it would erase the stress that I, and many of you, deal with on a regular basis hunting down the newest releases.

Aside from having them dropped off by a drone, I couldn’t imagine anything better then coming home to a nice box sitting at my doorstep and knowing that I won’t have to run from store to store, or hope I get lucky online. If you read the article on this game crate, you can see that they’ve been wanting to try their hand at a subscription service. Maybe if this goes well, they can look into other options. I know this could be implemented in many capacities and across many fandoms.

So what are your thoughts on something like this? Would you be willing to pay for a subscription that send you the new releases (whether it be 6″ or 3.75″) every month? I literally just thought myself into a zen like state writing this…just imaging a world without the poor order habits of stores and stresses of hunting the same figure for months. Ah…back to reality, blood pressure increasing. Share your thoughts below.
