Conspicuously obvious is the artwork for a Bantha and Tusken Raider package. Was this planned for the line? Is it still planned for the line? Only time will tell!! Special thanks to JTA reader Nathan M. for the alert!
Here on JTA we discuss all things Star Wars, we argue about which action figure line is the best, we criticize Hasbro for repacks and at least some of us love to moan about the sequel trilogy.
But let’s talk about what we love: our Star Wars collection. We discuss action figures all day here on JTA – but we rarely get to see what you actually collect. So I thought it would be a good idea to create the opportunity to show everyone what you collect. (more…)

As we lead up to Toy Fair, we’re going to recap discussions we had in the past. We will attempt to re-engage our readers with a unique topic each day. For today’s topic, let us know what you’re anticipating the most from Hasbro at Toy Fair this year. Are you dying for a vast The Vintage Collection lineup reveal? Are you waiting for Hasbro to announce that older The Black Series 6″ figures will be repackaged and updated with “photorealistic” technology? Or are you just hoping that you will be able to find figures at your local retail chains again, like in the past like when Hasbro held us like they did on Naboo? Let us know if your comments. And remember, please. 3.75″ and 6″ collectors should not engage in war like it’s the North and the South. Keep it friendly!

Could Momaw Nadon (Hammerhead) be closer than we think for The Black Series line? While scale cannot be confirmed, artist Gregory Titus who has sketched a ton of figures for Hasbro’s TBS line has just posted his sketch for Momaw Nadon (Hammerhead) just a couple hours ago. (In the past he has sketched figures for both 3.75″ and 6″ scale.) Let the speculation begin! Hopefully it’s for 3.75″ too! Special thanks to friend CSE for the alert!
French site Star Wars Black Serie France is claiming baseless rumors abound that Hasbro is seeking to stop the production of 6″ and 3.75″ super-articulated figures. The problem? They have no sources cited and just a list of reasons why it would make sense if this happened (something that is already discussed on multiple Star Wars fan sites daily) like unsatisfactory sales, and no movement of the products at retail. Years before the Disney takeover, rumors like this existed, but they have been quelled for years. Besides, why would Hasbro bring back The Vintage Collection only to cancel it a few months after its re-launch. Anyway, check out the rough translation, and let us know in our comments how Hasbro could ensure success of both super-articulated scales at retail.
