I hope they update the Dooku’s head sculpt because it might be one of the worst they’ve done!

Today I want to continue the 1/12 scale Star Wars action figure retrospective. Previously I focused on single characters. For this article I focus on characters and figures that don’t warrant an article of their own, but which have still various options available and where it makes sense to talk about what is the “best” or “ultimate” version. In this article I cover the characters Count Dooku, Mace Windu, C-3PO and R2-D2! So click through for the battle of their 6-inch action figures!

We’re thrilled to present you with a sneak peek of the latest wave of The Black Series [Phase III] 6″ figures. Wow. What a wave! In addition to three fabulous The Rise Of Skywalker characters, we get a long-awaited Count Dooku and Clone Commander Bly, both of which are fantastic as well. Clone Commander Bly utilizes old tooling, but Hasbro did a good job as disguising that. Count Dooku will enrage longtime 3.75″ collectors. Why in the world do we not have a quality Count Dooku figure like this in our collections yet, Hasbro? Count Dooku comes with an all-new widened lightsaber blade attachment. Zorii Bliss is another incredible addition. The figure’s mask is removable and displays a beautiful visage of Kerri Russell. The Knight Of Ren is excellent. But these characters lost their luster a bit after Episode IX. Still, Hasbro should be commended. Will we ever get them all. Sith Jet Trooper may only be a repaint, but its sculpt is underrated. And the figure works beautifully in this color too. The reviews are coming shortly, but you can enjoy rough galleries now. More images coming soon!

After the recent article about Star Wars trending on Google, I thought it might be fun to take a closer look at how various Star Wars characters are trending on Google, both old and new. The results may make some people happy, others not so much, some of the results are certainly surprising! Some spoilers: Russia loves Kylo Ren! Japan loves droids! That was quick! Only a short while after Episode III Obi-Wan S.H.Figuarts announced Count Dooku yesterday and he’s already available for pre-order now! Unfortunately, Count Dooku is a web exclusive, which means anyone not pre-ordering him will have to pay a lot of money on the aftermarket! So hurry! Count Dooku is available at most of the usual Japanese etailers. I secured my figure already. Count Dooku was my most anticipated prequel figure and I’m glad I can finally add him to the collection. Count Dooku will be released at the end of April 2019. So patience is in order. The figure comes with two heads, cloth cape, lightsaber, the usual extra hands and even one hand with Sith lightning.
