This afternoon, Hasbro held a short Question and Answer session, along with a brief slide show presentation to show us what is in store for the rest of 2005 and what we can expect for 2006.

Major Points:

Attacktix Wave 2 will be out this September and will contain 30 new figures. This wave will have Original Trilogy character includes your favorite...the Bounty Hunters. The 3rd wave is expected to hit the shelves in January 2006 and additional waves will follow every 4 months or so.

The Galactic Heroes Dangles line has been expanded from 4 to 6 to include Darth Vader and Darth Tater in addition to Yoda, Luke, Hand and Boba Fett

The M-Pire Plush line will consist of 4 waves of 4 plush dolls

The rumored last 12 Revenge of the Sith basic figures are rumored no more and can be seen in our Hasbro Image Gallery

The Unleashed will indeed (in what we think is a very baffling move) be converted to a 2" line due to cost. They will be sold in 4-packs for $9.99 and hit the shelves in December. 75% of the line will be army builders. The figures will contain some poseability. Some of the sets will be:

Yoda, Aayla Secura, Chewbacca, Wookie Warrior

Selection of 4 different Clone Commanders

Selection of 4 different Kashyyyk Clones

Selection of 4 different Wookie Warriors

Battle Packs will be all over the place including a Target Exclusive "Clone Trooper Coruscant" that will have 5 different Clone Troopers.

Target will also carry the Lava Reflection Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi

An EU figure was announced - The Stealth Trooper

Wal*Mart will carry an Exclusive Cinemacast Darth Vader

The Hoth battle Pack will be a TRU Exclusive

Entertainment Earth will offer a Astromech Droid 5-Pack

2006 Saga Line

K-Mark will carry 2 Exclusive Battle Packs

"Seperation of the Twins" Obi-Wan Kenobi with Luke & Bail Organa with Leia (Wal*Mart)

The 2006 line will be called the "Saga" line and will sport the familiar black card with silver lettering.

The line will be "collector oriented" and contain a mix of major and minor characters.

Each figure will include a base. The top of the base will have the name of the movie the character is from and the front of the base will have the character name.

The waves will be grouped into battles or themes

There will be a pack in with the figures, but it is not a hologram figure

The 1st Wave will have Leia in Boushh Disguise, Han Solo with Carbonite Block and Bib Fortuna

There will also be waves surrounding Hoth and most likely Tatooine (the carded image shown was a Sandtrooper)

There are no new vehicles in the works
