
It
all began in 1978 with the first 4 issues, originally called The
Official Star Wars Fan Club, consisting of a series of articles
forming the newsletter. A contest was held to come up with a name for
the Fan Club newsletter and, thanks to Preston Postle, Bantha Tracks was born. Issue 5 was the first issue to take on the new name. Issues
1-4 were later re-issued in a special Complilation Issue.
For
those that have not had the enjoyment of reading these awesome newsletters
which, at the time, were one of the only ways to get up-to-date Star
Wars information, Jedi Temple Archives is proud to bring you an exclusive Special Report: Reliving Bantha Tracks. This report documents
the vintage Bantha Tracks series, starting with the original Issue number 1 and ending with the final issue, 35. While growing up in the 70's and
