TSC – Wave 2 – Battle of Hoth
#011 General Rieekan:

I wasn't excited about this figure coming out again. Especially because I had paid almost twice as much for him a couple of years ago when he was packaged as a deluxe. But if you didn't get him, well here’s your chance. Quite possibly your LAST chance to get him.

Here are my subjective and objective reviews for the figure:

Head Sculpt:
Here I think the head is a bit too long, but other than that it’s a good sculpt. Though one eerie observation that I've made, along with many others, is the striking resemblance to John Kerry, one time U.S. presidential candidate. heh heh
Rating 3 out of 5 Holocrons

Articulation:
Wow, is this a vintage figure? With only the neck, shoulders and hips, it’s gotta make you wonder if he wasn't pulled from a 1980’s mold and not one from today.
Rating 1.5 out of 5 Holocrons

Paint Application:
At least the paint is decent. He looks like his onscreen persona.
Rating 3 out of 5 Holocrons

Overall sculpt:
The sculpts not bad. Just standard.
Rating 2.5 out of 5 Holocrons

Accessories:
Blaster and figure stand. Sheesh, at least they could have packed in the display screen and table that came with him as a deluxe figure. That might have made him more popular.
Rating 1.5 out of 5 Holocrons

Customization possibilities:
Hmm, swap his head with Derlin’s and you might have something. Really though the figure is practically worthless for customizing. Oh oh, wait I forgot the John Kerry factor. Okay, go find yourself a figure in a suit in the same scale. swap heads and there you've got it! A failed boring democratic nominees for President...(And no hating, cause I'm a Democrat too!)
Rating 1.0 out of 5 Holocrons

Playability:
With virtually no articulation, there’s not much you can do with him. He’s more a "Display Only," type of figure.
Rating 1 out of 5 Holocrons

Overall Score:
Crappy articulation really doesn't help this character and really detracts from the playability and collectibility of this figure. Since he’s only packed one per case and only in one case assortment, it’s unlikely that this figure will peg warm and that’s about the brightest point to him. Sad but true.I liked him when he came with the table, but otherwise I'll take a pass on him again.
Rating 1.5 out of 5 Holocrons

Respectfully submitted
