TSC – Wave 1 – Battle of Carkoon
#006 Boba Fett:

One of the most popular characters from the original trilogy, Boba Fett is included in every new Star Wars toy line. Even being produced as one of the limited characters used for the VOTC series. When word of this wave first hit, it was no surprise that he would be made yet again. And there was a little surprise with this one this time.

Here are my subjective and objective reviews for the figure:

Head Sculpt:
Since this is the same head from the SAGA and OTC lines, it’s no different. Which is to say it’s good. I'm still hoping for the day that we get a removable helmet Boba (non-Titanium). One that I don't have to customize. This sculpt could have been made better by some better battle damaged paint, but it suffices.
Rating 3.5 out of 5 Holocrons

Articulation:
Her’s the surprise. The upper part of the figure is from the SAGA and OTC lines while the lower part is from the VOTC figure. It’s a good kit bash that accomplishes a few things. I still prefer the VOTC Boba, but for a basic figure at a basic price, this is the best. Lots of articulation though the elbows could be better, you can pose him in many positions.
Rating 3.5 out of 5 Holocrons

Paint Application:
Very good. A fair amount of accuracy if not perfect. Rich in color, this paint application helps to bring the figure to life. More and darker battle damage might have pushed this to a "5."
Rating 4 out of 5 Holocrons

Overall sculpt:
He’s a kit-bash from a few figures, but it works well enough. Good not great. If you didn't get the previous SAGA Boba, then I'd highly suggest getting this one. It’s definitely an improvement from that one.
Rating 4 out of 5 Holocrons

Accessories:
Blaster, Flame and figure stand. A repeat of accessories of the past. But the flame accessory continues to make me happy.
Rating 3.5 out of 5 Holocrons

Customization possibilities:
Not much to speak of. With the tell-tale elbow articulation, it’s going to be hard not to notice which Boba was used for whatever custom you make of him. Unless you want to make a battle damaged Jango from this one, there’s not much to custom. Though you could simply repaint him to another color scheme and make you own Mandolorian.
Rating 2 out of 5 Holocrons

Playability:
This figure is by far the best regular priced Boba to date. Lots of play value here and will make kids and "grown-up kids" alike happy.
Rating 4 out of 5 Holocrons

Overall Score:
Easily one of the best from the Tatooine wave. The little he lacks in articulation is made up for with how he looks. This is a solid representation of Boba whether you PLAY or DISPLAY your figures.
Rating 4 out of 5 Holocrons

Respectfully submitted
