TSC–Wave 1 – Battle of Carkoon
#003 Bib Fortuna:

Although we did just see this in the OTC line, this new Bib sports a new sculpt and some new articulation, making your decision to purchase this figure easier.

Here are my subjective and objective reviews for the figure:

Head Sculpt:
The head sculpt is good but not great. Had this figure been sculpted in a more generic facial expression, rather than the permanent mouth open I would have said it was near great. Mine suffers from the head tails being a different color. That could be due to paint application or different plastic which affects how paint sticks to it or is absorbed by the plastic which gives the appearance of a different color.
Rating 3 out of 5 Holocrons

Articulation:
As mentioned in the sculpt section, I'm not normally a fan of this type of figure. But other than the legs being relatively useless, Bib has it just about everywhere else when it comes to articulation. I was expecting the legs to be articulated as they were, but was surprised by the extra articulation in the arms. Would it have been nice to have an SA version? Maybe. Needed? No.
Rating 2.5 out of 5 Holocrons

Paint Application:
Excellent but for the difference of paint on the head and head-tails. The robes are painted nicely and the colors help to bring out the detail of the sculpt.
Rating 4 out of 5 Holocrons

Overall sculpt:
While I don't like the permanent open mouth the head sculpt is good. I'm not normally a fan of “standing room only" type figures, but since Bib was barely seen in ROTJ doing anything else, it makes sense for the figure.
Rating 3 out of 5 Holocrons

Accessories:
A knife and a stand that's it. But that's actually one more than I expected. The knife was an addition that while not needed but gratefully accepted. The added bonus of which is that there is a small slit in the belt that allows Bib to carry it, thus you shouldn't lose it. Not much to his accessories but in his case less is more.
Rating 3 out of 5 Holocrons

Customization possibilities:
Other than using the head, there isn't much room to customize here. As always a fresh coat of different colored paint might give him an appearance of being someone different, but that's stretching it a bit for this figure.
Rating 1.0 out of 5 Holocrons

Playability:
This figure suffers in the playability factor due to it's very limited articulation. It's a decently sculpted and painted piece but just isn't great for play.
Rating 2 out of 5 Holocrons

Overall Score:
The TSC Bib is a definite improvement over previous renditions. Even if you have the earlier modern one, I'd suggest getting this one.
Rating 2.5 out of 5 Holocrons
