ROTS TIE Fighter - With Larger Wings!:

This is just a "Quick Shot" review so I could to get some info out on it to you as quick as possible!. Look for a full review with images coming soon, but this should hold you over for the time being!
First this thing is HUGE! Finally a scaled TIE fighter. Now to the potentially very cool part...
The wings can be disassembled! That right the center strut piece that connects to the cockpit strut can be removed from the wing.
Why is this so important or cool? Simple...If some enterprising person out there has the skill, they can mold this center strut and vacuum form or mold the wing piece and VOILA you can have a scaled set of wings to fit all of your older model not-to-scale TIEs! Since the cockpit is the same design as it's been since the 70's it will work!
The only major downside is if you can't find the original at stores and look for it online, you might be duped into a repro wing TIE.
Still the potential to make the correct sized wings at a fraction of the cost is very intriguing.
This also begs the question - Why did Hasbro have to charge $40 for a model when the wings are the only thing different and to boot each wing no matter which side it's on is the exact same thing? Only one mold was needed for both wings.
No excuses from Hasbro, this thing could have been easily $10 less. I mean come on, we got the ARC-170 for $29.99 and it's a bigger ship with lots more movable parts and interaction...

Respectfully submitted
-Sal
