JTA reader jotape alerted us to a pretty interesting set of The Black Series bootleg figures. These are different from the ones we alerted you about earlier this month. These are called "SRAR WALS" figures! Check them out at AliExpress!

Click through for some additional details about it and be sure to check out our FULL GALLERY on our Facebook page located HERE.

Jedi Temple Archives is pleased to offer our readers some remaining items from the estate of Mark Grimshaw (aka studlydudly) via his caregiver John Terpkosh. He had a massive collection of T-shirts, jackets, caps and knits that have been either lightly used or are new. Graciously, John Terpkosh will be sending these items out FREE of charge (including the shipping costs) to domestic JTA readers because he knows Mark would want these to end up in the hands of a brother or sister in the Force and not on some yard sale table. If you're international, you may need to have a discussion with him about covering shipping costs, but please show interest either way. To make things easy for John, please click on any thumbnail of the item you're interested in and copy and past the link in your correspondence to John. This way he can identify the item in question. Please contact John directly at firstname.lastname@example.org for further information. You can click through to see what items are available.
UPDATE: All of Mark's items have been claimed. Thank you for all that reached out!

JTA reader Dylan B. has found something new on store shelves. Check out Box Busters, by Spin Masters. We have no idea what they are really, but these things convert into either a box or a miniature play scene. Click each image to see it in full size.
UPDATE: Jakks Pacific has asked us to remove the images from this post.
Do you remember that rumor report about a Chewbacca standee with photo opportunities? We are now hearing multiple reports that this will be a light up Chewbacca. We're not so sure what that means, but supposedly TARGET stores hosting midnight madness will definitely have this.

This discussion has really taken off and been shared multiple times on our Facebook page, so we thought we'd bring it to the JTA front page. It's likely to cause heated debates and discussions, so please remember to be respectful to others and agree to disagree before the nastiness comes out! Sure to be controversial on so many levels, an author at Tech Times has asserted that The Clone Wars and Rebels are the best Star Wars material in 30 years. Your thoughts?

JTA reader Logan P. sends us what appears to be the first sign of The Force Awakens merchandise on retail. We knew this was inevitable. Products will likely be leaking onto shelves the closer we get. While likely still a breach of contract, this piece of merchandise is relatively harmless. Keep your eyes peeled out there folks!

JTA moderator flamingtoilet alerted our attention to a very old website called Power Of The Force Too (that probably was in motion before any of the fan sites you visit today). It has been archived. I personally have never come across this ever. This is the timely for a couple of reasons. Firstly, we're celebrating 20 years of this line in our RDRs, and secondly, the humor is very reminiscent of what Mark Grimshaw (studlydudly) posted via his Karaoke Cantina comic strips. Check it out! (You have to love that mid-nineties high-rez photography!)
It is with extremely heavy heart that I post this. Longtime JTA reader and personal friend of mine Mark Grimshaw (known as studlydudly here at JTA) has passed away. He was an amazing person, fun collecting buddy and possessed a corny side which all made us laugh: his cantina karaoke cartoons (you can see many of them posted in our RDRs). He was a fixture at many fan sites including our friends at BanthaSkull.com and Yakface.com. I will miss him terribly. Life has no guarantees. Always strive to be good to others and make it matter. I am personally devastated by this loss. I am so glad I "harassed" him into finding Chuck at SWCA to get his poster. Rest in peace, Mark. You'll be sorely missed.

Please consider helping my good friend Dale Hopkins who has just been diagnosed with a blood cancer affliction. He is an incredible selfless human being with more love and care in his heart than I have ever seen. He's a regular here at JTA and we all wish him a quick and speeder recovery, but he needs help in order to heal and get back to normal. Please click through for his story. His Go Fund Me page can be found RIGHT HERE.
Happy 73rd birthday Harrison Ford!

Scott Neitlich from Jakks Pacific reached out to us yesterday with details on the SDCC exclusive Jakks Pacific Boba Fett 18" figure. We posted the details on our Facebook page yesterday, but in case some of you don't access that outlet we are also posting it here today. When we reached out to him Scott letting him know that Medicom Toy released two collectibles of this version of Boba Fett already, he replied "Yeah, it is one of those things where those items are considered in licensing to be in a different category. Licensing gets split up in odd ways these days." Click through for details on this cool collectible!

The controversy surrounding the lack of female action figures has yielded some passionate articles from other "Star Wars" fathers. This one has been published at Heroic Girls. While not really Star Wars related, see the travesty done to Black Widow in the Avengers line. This article is noteworthy for not only addressing the issue of the lack of female action figures, but their overall dismissal of specific female characters to the brand as well (and perhaps their perceived capability by toy makers). (This one should make anyone on either side of the argument think twice.) Special thanks to the collaborative effort of CreeBoPeep and Rocketdyke for bringing this to our attention.
Jedi Temple Archives wishes our beloved readers who are mothers a very Happy Mother's Day! We honor all who have brought life into this world. If you have a mother with us here on Earth or your mother has become one with the Force, take a moment to let her know how much she has meant to you in your life.

Don't buy our Celebration Anaheim exclusive vintage Kenner poster on eBay for $357.36. Let us hear from you via email so we can cull together a list of people who want to purchase one for a mere $24.99 instead. But in order to make this happen we need to hear from you! Email us at email@example.com. We need a minimum to reprint it (it will be a second edition run), so speakup or forever pay eBay prices! This is just us, but wouldn't you type jeditemplearchives.com before eBay.com in your browser to look for this poster? Some people just don't look before they leap!
