JTA reader Eli confirms with us that he has found The Black Series wave 5 (Ree-Yees/Jabba's Skiff Guard/BEST.... Darth Vader.... EVER!) at his local Walmart store. This makes the second retail location that these figures have been found, with many stores not even seeing a trace of wave 4 yet. Crazy! Click through for his report.

Funniest Case Of Bubblegate Yet

Posted by Paul | September 19, 2014 at 04:44 PM EDT |

Best.... Bubblegate victim.... EVER! JTA moderator Sjefke sends us an image of a very pitiful The Black Series action figure. You're going to laugh.... guaranteed! Click through for more!

We are getting so many successful Ollie's store finds that we probably won't be able to keep up with them all. But if you also have had success, please post the locations in our comments to help other readers out. Thank you! By the way, don't forget you might have a similar experience at your local Kmart as well. Post those finds too please! Click through for two quick reports from Deptford NJ and Bristol PA.

Posted by Paul | September 18, 2014 at 10:42 AM EDT |

Egregious, Despicable, Disgusting, Horrifying, Enraging

Posted by Paul | September 17, 2014 at 09:24 PM EDT |

You will NEED to sit down before clicking through to witness the horror we did. We have no less than 15 images of pure theft to show you. JTA reader Greg B. sends us one incident after another of blatant theft and he assumes that this is the same thieving guy/gal doing this because it happens frequently and in a remote area. I need to find out more, but I would like to know why no one has done something about this or perhaps brought it to a district manager's attention. I think something like this would warrant a call to Hasbro customer relations. You will shutter. Be afraid. Be very afraid. Hasbro, you have all but ignored the fan sites, but if you're still reading, please do something about this.... even if it's simple staff education.

Emergency Mental Health Psych Screener Needed Please!

Posted by Paul | September 16, 2014 at 09:22 PM EDT |

We have two bizarre and mentally unstable actions caught on camera to share with you courtesy of JTA reader David B. The first one is surprisingly NOT a terrible paint job by Hasbro. Someone actually switched Luke's arms with Han's. And then the second form of theft someone returned the "good" figure from a Mission Series two-pack. Freaky! Whoever is doing this, please spend your time reclined in a chair and get some psychotherapy. Please. Click through for more.

Walgreens has opened up their store locator. See if you can locate this item by seeing if stores in your area have it in stock. Special thanks to JTA reader Solo Calrissian for the tip.

Toys R Us Gets Discounted The Vintage Collection Figures Now?

Posted by Paul | September 14, 2014 at 03:52 PM EDT |

OK. We DO NOT want to prematurely jump to wrong conclusions, but with recent developments at Ollie's and Kmart, we can't help but pay close notice to what's going on elsewhere. JTA reader Nick S. sends us proof that he found some The Vintage Collection figures and they were specially priced at $7.98 (down from the normal $9.99). This odd collection of figures looks to be a hodgepodge of multiple cases. It's likely these could have fallen behind the display and even stranger they could have been returned. But the new price point has our curiosity piqued. If you're out and about, PLEASE let us know if you find something similarly. Click through for Nick's report.

eScalper Or Do-Gooder? You Decide!

Posted by Paul | September 14, 2014 at 02:13 PM EDT |

We have an image to show you that will likely divide the community. Is she buying these up for needy children so that they have a wonderful Christmas this year (trying to see the good in people), or is she hoping to pawn these off on eBay and make a quick buck for her own prince or princess for their own self-serving holidays this year (always seeing the bad in people)? You decide. Man, some people can just suck the joy right out of a good thing. Click through for more.

Mind-Boggling: SOTDS Vehicle 2-Packs ALSO Found At Kmart!

Posted by Paul | September 13, 2014 at 10:21 PM EDT |

UPDATE: Multiple Successful Store Finds Of Snowspeeder/Cloud Car Combo

Posted by Paul | September 13, 2014 at 08:40 PM EDT |

Between JTA reader Nick S. and my own visual confirmation(s), we can affirm that the "Dream Team" set (thank you scockery for letting us steal your denotation) is available at multiple Ollie's locations as well. The Jedi Turbo Speeder? Well, this one isn't faring as well. We haven't come across it once. But plenty of Luke Skywalker's Snowspeeders, Bespin Cloud Cars and Mandalorian Shuttles. Remember, these should be available everywhere this Thursday if they're not out now. Also, I found other combinations tonight with sets including Plo Koon's Jedi Starfighter, Ahsoka's Jedi Starfighter and others.

Ollie's Shadow Of The Dark Side Vehicle Two-packs Update!

Posted by Paul | September 13, 2014 at 12:21 PM EDT |

Are you still trying to acquire Luke Skywalker' Snowspeeder or the Mandalorian Assault Transport from the Shadow Of The Dark Side era (2010-2011)? We have the low down for you surrounding the neatest surprise in years at a retail discount chain: the return of Shadow Of The Dark Side! Click through because you will definitely be interested to discover what we've learned! (Side note: The pitiful rush I got when investigating this new turn events really put things in perspective for me. It's so depressing that I am more excited about "old" Class II vehicles than I am about 95% of the new stuff currently at retail.)

BREAKING NEWS: They're Back!! 2 Awesome Class II Vehicles Less Than $20

Posted by Paul | September 12, 2014 at 03:54 PM EDT |

Breaking news! JTA reader Chris sends us photographic proof that The Clone Wars [Shadow Of The Dark Side] vehicle two-packs that were originally part of a Toys R Us' "Black Friday" promotion have now been found at Ollie's for $19.99 for each two-pack! Send in your store reports and let us know what you find! It's amazing to me that collectors were trying to find these vehicles when they were released and they now are still being found for pennies on the dollar. What this distills down to is that you can get two highly detailed full-size vehicles with cool action features and a lot of play value for less than the price of one "reduced scale" essentially hollowed out Class II vehicle available right now for $24.99 each with "nothing". Sad, sad, sad. Hasbro would have been better off holding onto this stock and then re-releasing it when the market demanded something good to buy (i.e. now).

The Cheapest You Will Ever Pay For The Hasbro MTT!

Posted by Paul | September 11, 2014 at 09:19 PM EDT |

You think you paid pennies on the dollar for your MTT? JTA reader Marcel E. has you all beat. Look at the crazy price he paid for it at his local Marshalls. It's amazing he still even found one!

Inconceivable! Former TVC Peg-Warmers? Guess Packaging Does Matter!

Posted by Paul | September 02, 2014 at 04:25 PM EDT |

You know something? Hasbro can't seem to win for losing. They finally do something right by peppering older The Vintage Collection figures into the line and bam: instant peg-warmers. We know without a doubt that Dak Ralter wasn't the best choice by any stretch of the imagination, but I still don't think he should be peg-warming like this. Click through for JTA reader Joe's recent retail experience. Now, just imagine if you replaced the Daks with Emperor's Royal Guards? Now that would be something.
