Posted by Paul | August 22, 2015 at 07:53 PM EDT |

From an anonymous source, we have received confirmation that an undisclosed Kmart has put out a ton of The Force Awakens product for sale! See just some of the stuff "this reader" was able to pick up! Of particular note, notice that this is a case of six 6" figures, another JTA rumor confirmed that 6" figures would be going from 4 per case to 6 per case! It's good news that Kylo Ren is packed two per case!

Special thank to JTA Canadian reader Bruno B. for this report, but Dollarama in Canada is getting Star Wars Hot Wheels an there arriving at a good price: $3.00.

The Black Series 3.75" Figures For 99¢ At Walgreens!

Posted by Paul | August 19, 2015 at 08:43 AM EDT |

JTA reader ldfipps sends us an unbelievable store find: The Black Series 3.75" figures for 99¢! They were all sold out by the time he got there, but all of you should probably check your local Walgreens and see just how low they'll go!

If you live in the Davenport IA area, we highly suggest checking your local retailers that sell Star Wars figures. But even if you don't, it may be the right time for all of us to check retail fro The Black Series line (both scales). JTA reader Aaren A. sends us multiple reports from Walmart and Walgreens showing just how much of retail's attention span has been lost on The Black Series in order to prep for The Force Awakens line! Click through for his reports!

Retail Begins Preparing For Force Friday Deluge

Posted by Paul | August 11, 2015 at 09:20 PM EDT |

In case you've had no reason to visit your local TARGET for Star Wars figures for approximately the last three years like I have, you may not be aware that essentially all of their Star Wars sections are disappearing. They're being broken down and remaining items are being out on clearance in a special section elsewhere in the store, or on the end caps like this store has done. This of course is in full anticipation of Force Friday. Walmart stores are doing similar things as well now too. Special thanks to JTA reader Mike R. for the photo.

SOTDS Vehicle Two-Packs Now Found At Chuck E. Cheese!

Posted by Paul | August 11, 2015 at 09:15 PM EDT |

As JTA reader John W. wrote in his email to me, apparently the "Shadow Of The Dark Side" vehicles have indeed ended up everywhere at some point. This particular find was at a Chuck E. Cheese in Louisville KY. What a shame the failure of this vehicle assortment apparently became. They were all awesome and mostly made the last of the non-dumbed down vehicles for 3.75" figures. (Not including what may show up for Force Friday of course....)

Meijers Stores Begin Teasing Force Friday!

Posted by Paul | August 05, 2015 at 06:53 PM EDT |

It's amazing this quantity of waves 7 and 8 are hitting brick and mortar in these numbers!

Look what JTA Facebook fan Jonathan O. found at his local TARGET 10 hours ago! I have to admit that this is probably the most exciting thing I have seen hit TARGET shelves in years (price and all). Hey Jonathan! Get that Obi-Wan Kenobi/Super Battle Droid two-pack. It's the only place you'll find a Super Battle Droid with ball-jointed ankles! Not even the TVC version came with them!

It's A Plague We Tell You!

Posted by Paul | July 18, 2015 at 05:29 PM EDT |

We hope that stores like this (in our immediate area) somehow find a way too rid themselves of the plague that is Princess Leia (Slave Outfit). These have been rotting since November 2013 and the store has received no other 6" figure since then. Also, in the last 12 months I have seen three new 3.75" super-articulated figures hanging from these pegs.

First Report Of Rebels Product Found At Discount Chain TJ Maxx

Posted by Paul | July 03, 2015 at 03:29 PM EDT |

Well, it was inevitable. With the horrid distribution of the Rebels line, it was only a matter time before we started finding products at discount chains. The first retail "discount" store report is here! Class II vehicles have been found at TJ Maxx stores. Special thanks to JTA reader Chris for the news!

Rebels Line Look No Longer Recognized By TARGET Computer

Posted by Paul | July 01, 2015 at 05:01 PM EDT |

This really isn't anything too newsworthy, but it's more likely than not that if you find a Rebels figure at you local TARGET store that the system won't recognize the UPC any longer. While we understand the need for retail to prepare for The Force Awakens line, do any of you find it odd that Hasbro just didn't continue this assortment number to keep product active during the live airings of the show? We hope that most of these Rebels figures make their way into the new line look this September, especially Chopper. Special thanks to friend Chris S. for the image!
