A store report showing The Black Series [Phase I] 6" Anakin Skywalker and The Black Series [Phase II] 6" Chewbacca being found on clearance at ROSS has made its way to Instagam. You may want to start checking out this retail chain for these figures! Special thank to JTA reader Marcel for forwarding us the news! By the way, stuff like this ALWAYS happens. When figures spike on the aftermarket in conjunction with not seeing them hit retail when they're supposed really just means that the original allotment just didn't make its way out. Hopefully more people will be able to grab this figure now and the aftermarket values will plummet.
Come on retail. This is ridiculous! SO many stores are looking like this now. JTA reader and regular commenter Sloth from Hoth writes in with a jarring store report image and wants to wish everyone a Happier May the 4th than he had, or as many of us have on a daily basis. Here Sloth, have a piece of carrot cake on us!

From what we have learned from our many UK readers, anything beyond wave 1 of The Black Series [Phase III] 3.75" ASDA exclusive line is pretty much nonexistent. JTA UK reader Michael G. eagerly writes in to let us know that he has finally found wave 2! It appears things are beginning to look up! Click through for his report!

It appears that Hasbro is adding collector stamps to the Walmart exclusive The Black Series 3.75" line now! No, it's just to block the missing accessory. Is it too cruel to wish that the punishment for Star Wars action figure theft would be hanging, drawing and quartering? It seems as if it would be the only deterrent to make people stop this despicable act. JTA reader Jaret T. sends us an almost humorous act of vandalism and theft for a 3.75" TBS figure. Click the thumbnail below for more.

Found! Despite concerns that these might not end up as Walmart exclusives (thanks to complete non-communication of anything in the Star Wars brand), JTA reader Al C. sends us proof that the new wave has been found in Detroit MI. Al lets us know that this wave comes with a couple of each in every case. Let us know of your finds. The three UPC symbols for the three new figures (in no particular order) are:
UPDATE: We have just learned that these were found at other Walmart stores for $5 each. There's nothing like Walmart handling brand new exclusives! Hasbro: please never give Walmart anything 3.75" SA exclusive again!

The Kmart exclusive TBS6 Rey (Starkiller Base) figure continues to hit Kmart stores across the country in Miami FL and South Carolina in addition to Ontario
Canada California. Some readers even suggest looking for her in the clearance aisle where they found her! (We're telling you retail is clueless!) Let us know of your finds! Special thanks to JTA readers joshx, Cameron M. and Gabriel E. for all three reports!
UPDATE: It's Ontario, California, NOT Canada. I got the CA mixed up! Apologies! Kmart isn't even in Canada now.
The Takodana Encounter multipack is hitting Walmarts in Canada. JTA reader Tom sent in his latest find...
Just saw the Takodana Encounter multipack releases in two different Walmart stores around Montreal, QC, Canada today. The pack is listed at 29.92$ CAD + tx. I bought one... for Maz Kanata! Walmart had 6 multipack in each of both stores.

Target has done this on and off for years, but it looks like it's back. Click below to have a look at the latest collectible items disclaimer that Target has posted. This may or may not be at all stores. Of key interest is the notification that they will not be checking the stockroom for those items they feel the need not to put out. Thanks JTA reader Kevin for sending this in. Sound off in the comments if your local Target is once again controlling what you buy.

With the release of The Force Awakens on Blu-ray and DVD, many TARGET stores are getting displays full of products. (Is it just me, or do you not see TFA selling?) For the first time ever, many readers are finding the TBS6 Jango Fett wave stocked in them (or subsequently relocated to the shelves. I can attest to seeing this at my local TARGET in Neshaminy PA. And JTA reader Richard F. can report the same find in Burlington NJ. Click through for his report!
Well, better late than never? Or is it? Stuff that we many of us really don't need to see anymore is cluttering the shelves at many retailers. What does it look like in your neck of the woods? JTA reader and friend John L. lets us know what his area looks like. Click through for more....

JTA friend Martin M. sends us a great store report from San Antonio TX. His area has been dry but he has found the Nien Nunb wave as well as a Walmart store where Class II vehicles have been discounted to a much more reasonable $19.00. I can confirm that Philly also has these marked down to $19.00 as well!

As Star Wars collectors, Hasbro can rarely make us happy all of the time. That's a given. But I don't even think they can deny that Force Friday didn't go as planned. We're not going to beat up on them about that. But now if you go to Toys R Us, TARGET and Walmart, you'll find that wave 3 of The Black Series [Phase III] 6" line is clogging the shelves. Now, my area was one that has received next to nothing of ANY The Force Awakens products (especially in comparison to the mid and south West and New England areas) and even Philly is swimming in these figures now. Captain Phasma can be found everywhere. Even the Walmart exclusive 3.75" line (wave 3) has been overstocked to the point of not even fitting in the allotted spaces it's been granted. These quantities should have been available on September 4th, not April 2015. I wonder if the newest products will even find their way to my areas now because I don't foresee this old product moving out to make room for the truly new stuff. Hopefully The Force Awakens DVD/Blu-ray release will bring some toy buyers into stores again, because right now I don't see much of the line moving at all.... whether they're just peg-warmers or actually new and hot products.
While vacationing at Disney, JTA reader Henry W. found some new stuff at the retail shops in the theme park. Click through for his report.

We're a tad late posting this story, but the TBS6 Jango Fett is making frequent appearance both online and at brick and mortar for the last couple of weeks. It truly is a surprise how this figure has become the runaway hit of wave 5. JTA reader WIll P. writes in eagerly telling us about his latest find at TARGET. Click through for his story!
It looks like more and more stuff is reaching the East Coast. JTA reader Jub Goobles from NJ has found stuff in the Freehold Raceway Mall area. Click through for his report.

We're getting a ton of reports that TARGET stores from California to NJ are putting out displays that features the new Hero Series 12" Droid 3-Pack. If you're interested in this set, now may be the time to check your local TARGET store. Special thanks to Mike R. and Michael W. for the photos!

It is expected that non-Big Box stores will be selling Star Wars figures for a higher mark up. But to see it in person is just unsettling. JTA reader Justin C. sends us an image of what The Force Awakens 5POA figures cost at Rite Aid. Click through for more.

Laugh. Out. Loud. No one knows what the heck is going on anymore. JTA reader CS E. sends us an image of The Black Series [Phase III] 6" line on clearance now along with confirmation from the Walmart toy manager that this store was "getting rid of them".

Yesterday, JTA reader Justin S. from Georgia wrote in with a store report. Some TARGET stores are putting out those rumored end cap kits which contain some of the latest Star Wars figures. Interestingly enough, he found them in the boys' clothing section. Click through for his report!

You know that distribution is still disastrous when people in March are excited to see the Finn (FN-2187) Build A Weapon figure. Now, products arriving are all over the map depending on where you live, but goodness gracious, can things just even out a little?JTA reader Matt B. shares his story with us.
