Episode VII Tease In Select Theaters This Friday?

JJ Abrams alludes to some sort of teaser for Episode VII via Twitter. If you can't be bothered with such social media nonsense like us, here is what he revealed.

Update: has released the theater list that will be showing the trailer for The Force Awakens. For those that won't be able to see it on the big screen this weekend it is slated to be shown widespread in December.

There are some great face to face battles, especially with Zeb. And there are some fantastic connecting of the dots with Episode IV!

Star Wars: Rebels starts early! As the force grows stronger and Star Wars fans become more eager for the debut of the animated television movie Star Wars Rebels: Spark of Rebellion, Disney XD has moved up the debut by three days, to Friday, September 26 for verified users of and the WATCH Disney XD app for smartphones, tablets and connected TVs.

The new date will give verified WATCH Disney XD viewers a seven-day exclusive window to watch Star Wars Rebels before the global television debut Friday, October 3 (9:00 p.m., ET/PT in the U.S.) on Disney Channels around the world, ushering in the series beginning Monday, October 13 (9:00 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney XD.

In case you haven't heard or seen the breaking news, it has been slipped that the Millennium Falcon is indeed in Episode VII. has some excellent images if you're interested. But as far as Hasbro collectors are concerned, it now seems as if our February "insinuating" Crystal Ball rumor report now has some hard evidence to back up its claims. Star Wars: Episode VII Adds Academy Award® Winner Lupita Nyong’o and Game of Thrones' Gwendoline Christie. Lupita Nyong’o joins the recently announced cast of Star Wars: Episode VII. This year, her breakthrough performance in 12 Years a Slave earned her an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. Gwendoline Christie, currently starring in the hit television series Game of Thrones as Brienne of Tarth, has also been cast in the production. She can next be seen in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2.
