Instead of separating the timelines we have kept them together and labeled each book accordingly (Legends or Canon). This way, readers can choose to follow the overall timeline for any books they want to keep in their own personal timeline. Stop by and check out the latest Canon additions to the timeline!

With the recent announcement that the new novels that will be canon in the Star Wars Universe, and the official news that the old Expanded Universe is no longer valid in the Star Wars Universe, some type of separation now exists in the Star Wars timeline as we know it. Essentially, everything outside of the new canon is wiped from the timeline for a fresh start, unless some of the novels of the past are canonized. So, with that we now have two distinctly different Star Wars Universes to cope with: The Expanded Universe and the Canon Universe. Or, the EU and the CU. The covers for the first four novels in this new Canon Universe have been revealed.
Following today's announcement of Lucasfilm's new unified storytelling approach, Disney Publishing Worldwide is proud to announce their first step into that larger world, beginning with Del Rey Books. Click through for more.

It's not bound in a wooden box, but it's still gorgeous nonetheless. Special thanks to JTA Facebook friend Glenn D. for alerting us to this news! From what we understand, this is an "in store" price only. While you're there, be sure to check the toy section where you'll also likely find a few cool Hasbro gems from The Black Series 6" line too.
