If you recall, during the summer of 2011, Sideshow Collectibles showed off a second version of the C-3PO Life-Size Bust. The link to this article is HERE. This second interpretation of C-3PO was to sport a shiny and clean finish as compared to the Tatooine-battered first version. We have just learned that Sideshow Collectibles has cancelled production on the second version. They were unable to replicate the finish that they advertised so ultimately had to cancel the piece. Many collectors were hoping to secure this piece with the second version since the first piece has been sold out for a while now and only available on Wait List. With only 750 pieces made, if you're interested in this collectible, click HERE to place your Wait List order. What a shame. We were really looking forward to a clean version of C-3PO. And it's not often that Sideshow Collectibles ever cancels an officially announced item like this!
