Review: Lak Sivrak - POTF2 [G/FF] - Basic

Posted by Paul | April 25, 2015 at 12:55 AM EDT |

The Power Of The Force "2" Lak Sivrak is very special for multiple reasons. But probably most importantly Hasbro was able to squeak it out before Lucasfilm began axing toys that conflicted with the Special Editions. Learn more in our Research Droids Reviews today. Posted by Paul | April 20, 2015 at 01:20 AM EDT |

Review: ASP-7 Droid - POTF2 [G/FF] - Basic

Posted by Paul | April 16, 2015 at 12:50 AM EDT |

It's the only basic figure based on a character from the Star Wars Special Editions to date (through the eyes of 1997/1998). But do you need it? The ASP-7 Droid is just "meh" as far as we're concerned. Learn more in our Research Droids Reviews today. Review: Commander Wolffe - TBS [P2] - Basic

Posted by Paul | April 13, 2015 at 12:20 AM EDT |

There is an action figure that is its own yin and yang. And that figure is Commander Wolffe. It's the worst and best action figure at the same time. Maybe you can overlook its "worst-ness" easily. And maybe you won't. The good news is that no one will be able to deny its greatness. Learn more in our Research Droids Reviews today. Review: Chewbacca - TBS [P2] - #11

Posted by Paul | April 12, 2015 at 01:05 AM EDT |

You'd think we would all have the definitive A New Hope Chewbacca by now, but NOW we do. The Black Series Chewbacca is the best modern update of that character now. This figure looks fantastic and the lighter coloring does a world of good for this character who is mostly portrayed in colors way too dark for him. Review: Weequay Skiff Guard - POTF2 [G/FF] - Basic

Posted by Paul | April 09, 2015 at 08:28 AM EDT |

The Weequay Skiff Guard figure holds a record. He is the rarest Freeze Frame figure and perhaps the rarest modern figure in that packaging. His regualr green carded release however is a dime a dozen. Review: Luke Skywalker (All New Likeness) - POTF2 [G/FF] - Basic

Princess Leia Organa (In Hoth Gear)

Sideshow Collectibles gives collectors two options for a long-running debate. Is it brown or blue? Of course we're talking about Han's parka on Hoth. For today's review, we look at source materials which lean toward showing us that Captain Han Solo (Hoth) [Blue Jacket Version] may have actually worn a blue jacket. (It's all about being a devil's advocate today.) Check out our readable thoughts in our Research Droids Reviews today. Review: Commander Bly - R - Saga Legends (SL26)

Posted by Paul | March 28, 2015 at 12:56 AM EDT |

Review: Han Solo (Endor) - R - Saga Legends (SL27)

Posted by Paul | March 27, 2015 at 12:35 AM EDT |

It's a skort! It's a kilt! It's a very short jacket with a matching dress obstructed by hip articulation! It's the worst Han Solo (In Trench Coat) action figure we have ever received. See why Han Solo (Endor) had potential, but Hasbro just plain blew it. It's the focus of our Research Droids Reviews today. Posted by Paul | March 23, 2015 at 08:46 AM EDT |

Review: R2-D2/Yoda - R - Mission Series (MS16)

Posted by Paul | March 20, 2015 at 12:20 AM EDT |

Let us advise you on your next Yoda action figure purchase! You can get a five-points-of-articulation Yoda figure in The Black Series line (with a couple of extra pieces of soft-goods) for $12.99, or you can get a five-points-of-articulation Yoda figure with the same and other similar accessories AND A WHOLE OTHER FIGURE for only $9.99 in the Rebels Mission Series R2-D2/Yoda two-pack. What will you decide? After all, this Yoda's sculpt is actually a tad better than the TBS figure. Find out more in our Research Droids Reviews today. R2-D2/Yoda

We know that none of you are going to want to hear this, but the Rebels Mission Series Luke Skywalker/Han Solo two-pack may just give us the best modern version of "hood up" Han Solo in his Hoth gear. Yes, it pains us to say that too. But look at that portrait and tell us that he doesn't look exactly like the character from Episode V. No bushy parka hood, no sleepy eyes and a streamlined, albeit incorrect, blue coat. Also, Luke Skywalker isn't too shabby either. At least his outfit is screen accurate (for once) too. Ah. Such good sculpts with horrific paint operations (again)! It's likely very few will be able to get past the terrible deco on the Princess Leia/Luke Skywalker (Stormtrooper Disguise) Mission Series set, so should we even bother to champion for its success? You decide in our Research Droids Reviews today. Be sure to leave your own thoughts in our comments section, vote in the poll or even leave comments about it on our Facebook page.
