Hello fellow JTAers,

I know we're all sooo tired of JTA and it's "trivial" posts about nonsense like old Star Wars toys being found at closeout stores. "I just can't abide those JTAwas". But I feel in need of a self-congratulatory pat on the back today (actually I'm going to defer the back pat to our good buddy Scott B. in Arlington, TX for his heads-up to check out our local ROSS stores), so here goes. (If my above "rantings" make no sense to you, go now and read the JTA interview at The Toy Box and the subsequent remarks. Interesting.)

Per [Scott's] advice, I stopped by two of my local Ross stores on my way home tonight and after leaving empty handed at the first, the second store came through with two Class 1 vehicles hanging from the pegs for a mere $7.99 each. I didn't find the Geonosis camo AT-RT that I was hoping to start army-building :), but I did score an awesome Republic Scout Speeder w/ ARF Trooper. (I passed on Castas as I had just bought him online during a Kmart clearance).
