If you're fortunate enough to own 2011's TVC Ponda Baba (Walrus Man) (VC70) figure, you know it's pretty flawless as is. The one and only problem is that his head sculpt is too small. But do you want to know how to make him even better and remedy this? JTA reader and friend Rich A. shares his own customization of this figure with us to share with you. Hi Paul,

Attached are two photos I promised of Walrus Man. The way I made the figure was using the head from the Gentle Giant Bust-Up figure. If you cut the peg from it's neck and drill carefully, you can have it sit perfectly on the Hasbro body with just about the same range of articulation. The great part about the Bust-Up head is that you won't need to paint it, as the paint applications are even better than those included on the Hasbro figure. Obviously this was done to match the ANH prop more accurately. I'm not sure why the head was so small, but I'm guessing it could have to do with the new aesthetic on the Aqualish that we saw in the prequels and Hasbro having to adhere to that style per LFL.

It looks amazing Rich! This may be one of the few times I actually customize one of my own figures. It is such a vast improvement! One people get wind of this, expect this Bust-Up to quickly vanish! Act soon!
