Research Droids Reviews: November 23, 2011 – November 29, 2011

Commander Keller/Galactic Marine - TAC - Comic Packs (Exclusive)
One thing that is indeed certain in Star Wars collecting are clone repaints. Just the words “clone” and “trooper” should signal to collectors that we’ll all be getting bombarded by all different types. Two types of clones came two years after the release of Revenge Of The Sith, the Airborne Trooper and Galactic Marine.... (read the full review)

Boba Fett/RA-7 Droid - TAC - Comic Packs (Exclusive)
There are many things we are thankful for in life. And while there are many more important things in life like friends and family, we are extremely thankful for some things that Hasbro has created for us. One item in particular that makes us inordinately happy is the Walmart exclusive Boba Fett/RA-7 Droid Comic Packs set from the 30 (77-07) line.... (read the full review)

Kashyyyk Trooper/Wookiee Warrior - TAC - Comic Packs (Exclusive)
One look at the purple color-flashed Kashyyyk Trooper in this Comic Packs set and you’ll probably utter immediately that it isn’t a Kashyyyk Trooper. Carnor Jax/Kir Kanos - TAC - Comic Packs (No. 01)
Ah, the Carnor Jax/Kir Kanos Comic Packs set is the one that started it all, right? Wrong. How soon we forget that Comic Packs were actually introduced during the Shadows Of The Empire toy line in 1996. This format was quickly embraced by collectors and we all wondered when more would come. They didn’t until almost a decade later.... (read the full review)

Boba Fett (Prototype Armor) - TVC - Basic (VC61)
Slowly but surely Star Wars collectors are being treated to every last iteration of Boba Fett in action figure form possible with all thanks to Hasbro. Just when we thought every possible or attemptable version has been executed, Hasbro surprises us yet again and comes through to bring us yet again something new.... (read the full review)

Captain Rex/Clone Trooper Fives - TCW [S2] - Under The Helmet
If you’re into The Clone Wars line, you quickly learned that there will never be a shortage of Captain Rex action figures. In the first couple years of The Clone Wars property, collectors were treated to no less than half a dozen and history shows us that this number will continue to grow, perhaps exponentially....
