It seems (perhaps) that Kmart (at the moment) may be your best bet for new Star Wars figures. We went back to the same Kmart where we found wave 8 of The Vintage Collection and found two (2) brand new cases of wave 4 (the Attack Of The Clones wave from very early this year) and well as other new figures. Click through for more if you're interested!

Wave 4 of The Vintage Collection has been one of the hardest waves of figures to locate and has remained elusive for many collectors. (There are exceptions of course.) We personally have only found this wave about 1.5 times ourselves, so it was definitely a treat to see this amazing collection of figures again, especially almost a year after the fact. Date stamped with 03031, this proves they were packaged in late 2010 (with an obviously intended availability for early 2011). In other words, these figures we found weren't recently manufactured. It's quite possible that Kmart is cleaning out their warehouses and they've been sitting on these figures for a very long time, but it's interesting to see what eventually does hit retail. There were so many "wave 4" figures that some were just lying on the shelf that we managed to pick up an unpunched Zam Wesell and Kit Fisto as extras for our collection.

In a related note, Kmart is also finally getting wave 22 of The Clone Wars line in as well as evidenced by the photo below. Kmart is putting TARGET, Walmart and Toys R Us to shame, which ironically is a shame in and of itself. The prices are higher, but if you want the stuff, this could be an alternate source for you (for now at least).
