Think you will ever be able to get a full set of proof cardbacks from Hasbro? Find out this and more in this round of Hasbro's Q&A!

Hasbro's Q&A

Don't forget, you can submit questions in our forums and we'll try to get as many as possible submitted to Hasbro. We can send only three questions per week, so make sure they are good ones! Now, on to this weeks Questions and Answers directly from Hasbro.

You can also check out our Q&A Round-up, as well as our exclusive Headline Report over in our forums!

Q.The proof cards handed out at conventions (such as SDCC and CV) always seem to be a popular give-away, and collectors love a 'clean' backing. Is there a chance that at the end of a line collectors can buy full proof sets, perhaps from HasbroToyShop?

A. No, we don't have any plans to do that, because right now selling them falls outside our grant of rights and we'd have to execute paperwork for it.  We'll continue to just use them as giveaways.

Q. We have pointed out key errors on action figures that keep getting released in the line and you have assured us that fixes are in place , yet the figures keep coming to us incorrectly. For example, the 501st Legion Trooper in the Saga Legends line still has an incorrectly painted helmet with the blue that goes straight back instead of fanning out. Interestingly, you already have parts made that could easily fix these issues. Along these lines, can you please verify if Cody's belt has been correctly affixed for The Vintage Collection. So far we have seen carded samples with both ways.

A. We did make note of Cody's belt being upside down and checked off samples that were correct.  However, since there were two versions (foil and non-foil) the message didn't get attached to both versions. We have sent additional notes to the factory to make sure to get it right on the continuing (non-foil) version.  As for the 501st, it looks like the factory is deviating from the paint master.  That does happen from time to time as paint masks wear out.  We will try and get that one corrected, but sometimes these things are tricky to follow through every time since they are toys, and we do a lot of them.....tough to have eyeballs on everything.

Check back next time and we'll post the next round of Questions (and answers) as soon as Hasbro offers them.
