Collectors who mailed away for the Qui-Gon Jinn with Eopie recently got a post card in the mail from Hasbro. What did it say? Read on!

Apparently demand for the Qui-Gon Jinn and the Eopie mailaway figures has been higher than Hasbro anticipated. Read on to see what Hasbro had to say in a mailer that was sent to collectors who sent in the redemption form for this current mailaway:

Dear Star Wars Qui-Gon Jinn and Eopie Figure Requestor:

We have received your redemption request for the Qui-Gon Jinn and Eopie collectable figure.  We received more requests for this figure than was originally forecast, so an additional manufacturing order has been placed.  Due to this situation, we will be unable to ship your figure(s) to you until May 10th, 2010. 

If you don't want to wait until then, you may cancel your order and receive a prompt refund by calling our toll-free customer service number (800)255-5516.  Customer service hours are M-TH 8:30 - 5:00 PM; Fr 8:30 - 12:30 PM.  If we do not hear from you by March 30th, 2010, we will assume that you have agreed to this shipment delay.

The Qui-Gon Jinn with Eopie mailaway will continue to accept redemption forms through March 30, 2010. So if you've been procrastinating about sending in your mailaway submission forms this should serve as a clear wake up call.
